This place definitely served its purpose as a place to stay because everywhere else was sold out but it did smell faintly like old cigarette smoke in the room, particularly when the AC or bathroom fan went on...and when I asked if all rooms were this way or if we could change they denied it at all and then said it must have been a cleaning agent that was used by house keeping? Not sure how that is possible but they did give us air freshener to help with it. The shower was not properly clean and I would recommend wearing flip flops in there. The picture fames and glass surfaces were pretty dirty in room, and when I saw the splatter and drip marks across framed picture above bed ( all over it ) I was really disgusted.

Really friendly owner and the room was spotless and comfortable.

It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and charming -- like a roadside motel from the 1970s. It was very quiet and the owners/staff were friendly and helpful.

Easy check-in, friendly staff and the location was great for our needs. A few more towels in the bathroom would be nice.

Gita at the front desk was very nice when I checked in. The motel is located close to family I was visiting, which was a real plus. It has potential and could be wonderful if the room had been more appealing. The bed was comfortable which is the most important part. I haven't stayed in a motel for awhile, so don't know what the current trend is. All in all, I would try again but only if I was able to change the room if it proved to be to "aromatic". The stay was disappointing, because when I returned (about 10:30pm) after checking in, the room was so perfumed or deodorized that it made my eyes smart and gave me a headache. I considered sleeping in my car. But I opened all the windows - it was cold - and slept in my clothes. The bed looked like it had been hastily made - the sheets weren't tucked in. There was a hole in the ceiling with a cable (I guess). It was odd, there were three shampoo/conditioners, but no soap. I had read that it is clean, but the sink in the room had not been cleaned. It was in need of an update,

We stayed here one night while passing through Bend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel is cute, I didn’t think any place still uses real keys, and that was a fun novelty for my daughter. Unfortunately the bathroom door didnt close and the toilet had trouble flushing. There also was no cable tv, but that wasn’t that big of a deal for us. Even with those issues we would probably stay here again.

The location may be the only positive thing about this place. This motel is incredibly rundown, which would have been fine if the staff had been friendly or helpful. I stay in cheap motels fairly often, so I expect some charm. But…. The deadbolt on my door was misaligned and I couldn’t lock it. When I went to ask for help, the guy yelled at me. I stayed calm. He kept yelling. He didn’t come help until I decided to just check out. And by that time, I just wanted to go home. It was before 10pm, which should still be a reasonable time to ask for help. They also had me pay a $50 deposit, and I’m not sure why. Everything is already pretty worn. Thinnest walls in town. I came here for the location, but definitely won’t be back. There are better places around for the same price or cheaper.

That hotel required a $50 deposit and told me that if I paid it in cash I would get the full deposit, but if I used a card, I would only get $45 back, so I paid in cash. The office was closed the next morning when I checked out, so I dropped the key and left. I talked to the manager who said all I had to do was go by and pick up the cash. If I lived close enough to go by and pick up the cash, why on earth would I have stayed in his crappy hotel in the first place?!? He said he can’t mail it because he can’t be responsible for it getting lost in the mail. I told him that he’s just stealing my $50, and he repeated that I can just come by and pick it up. I’ve never been more angry about a hotel stay in my life. DO NOT STAY HERE. It’s dirty, poorly maintained, and the manager is a crook.

Loud AC, really close to the amphitheater. Not the best, not the worst.

The room was very clean. The check-in was seamless. I am a single female traveler and I felt safe.

Great family runs this place and even gave us a better and bigger room when we had to come back the second week in a row to wait for our water heater to be fixed.
