I would rather not enumerate the many failings of this business.

The room smelled of smoke. To get ice we had to ask at the office for a small bag of rock solid ice. Seemed like several people lived there. They sat outside the rooms and smoked.

Was clean but very old. In need of complete re-do. Smoking allowed outside the rooms but still smelled of smoke. Parking was fair but needed up grades. Bed not great and should have had 4 pillows. Most everything was patched and/or fixed rather than replayed. Sub-par for this country.

Free Continental breakfast advertised on Hotels.com DID NOT exist!!!!!!!! The person at the registration desk did not speak English very well... Cigarette burns on the carpet in a non-smoking room!!!! Lots of steps to climb to get to second floor rooms. Wooden staircase seems a bit unsafe in case of fire! (No other option available.)

It was handy to everywhere in Bennington (which, admittedly is a small town)and was a fine place to stay. Parking was a bit dicey, being on a steep side hill, and the main walkway out front ( a first floor balcony) was tilted a bit away from the building- a drink and I might have been over into the driveway. I would stay there again.

Great location, comfortable beds, clean. Thin walls and ceiling, you can hear the neighbors at all hours of the night / morning. This makes it hard to get good sleep if you are a light sleeper, which unfortunately I am.

Hotel looks like a welfare motel on the outside. Some sketchy looking people around. But my room was clean and comfortable.
-
Room very clean! Apparently some "permanent" lodgers
-
Blue painters tape holding things together and a mirror looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years
-
It’s to old and don’t have amenities.
-
Room decor is rather dated but the room was clean and comfortable. This wasn't clear from the photos, but the 2 bedroom unit does have folding doors, so there's some privacy. Overall a very good value. Downtown Bennington is easy walking distance.

It was on our way and right on road Was on a hill, dirty, old and worst hotel I have ever stayed at

Cozy feeling although old it was nicely decorated. Was clean. Bed was hard and very loud and squeaky just sitting on it. Guests were loud outside at night and early morning. Shower was slippery and small. Only a couple lights worked.

Clean facility overall; close to Classic Car Cruise In @ Hemmings Classic Car Event summer program. Adequate space for two and more. Steep inclined parking lot small; hard to utilize; heating/cooling systems obsolete; metal rooms key in balky old fashioned handle locks; only one key available; who does this any more? TV set doesn't pivot: one angle does not fit all; full charge for stay taken 2x days before we got there! High handed arrogance...This is nonsense. Staff unprepared to confirm resv. Spoke apparently Hindi to each other, not a word to us. Finally figured out we had Room Seven. Hard to acess with uneven step pattern to room from parking. Staff made sure-- in clumsy fashion --we were not to bother them when clearing room; just drop obsolete key in metal box. Staff did (absoletely) nothing to make us welcome.

Nicely Appointed Room ,bath, etc. very clean. also at the price point for Bennington. Air conditioner was an antique not the bad thing, I could visibly see the filter totally packed with dust. I did not use although room felt musty. I turned on the bathroom fan and it made sound but would not support holding a piece of toilet paper showing it was not sucking air. A few of the windows opened and I went with that. Site is slightly hilly with bumpy pavement.

No breakfast. Excellent location. Age of facility. Decent and clean, but overpriced.
-
no wifi. It was awful . I had to leave my room and stand outside the office for wifi. I was gaslit. very frustrating

Modest but clean accommodations with a window that wouldn't close after being opened. The room was stuffy and needs to be aired out. The gentleman at the desk had difficulty understanding spoken English so communication was difficult. I requested my usual room on he front side of hotel but was told they were sold out even though there was only one car in their parking lot. In fairness there was. large group of otocyclists at the neighboring hotel so perhaps it was sold out but I suspected they gave me a back room because my rate was lower through Hotels.com? It's ok, but nothing special.

Rooms were clean and staff was helpful, however, atmosphere felt like Section 8 housing. Smoking was done right outside my room and I was watched constantly by people from their rooms. There were no cars in the parking lot, but many arguments there during daylight hours. Not a comfortable place overall.
