Spacious room with good amenities
-
the front desk staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming to the guests

The food was fabulous! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Special thanks to the friendly staff, also to Tam, who helped to make our dining experience even more enjoyable by explaining everything so clearly in English.
-
The location was excellent and parking was close to the hotel and very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent. The Onsen was spacious. There were coffee machines on two floors which was of good quality. There are shopping areas nearby. Nothing at this time.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Japan (out of staying in all 47 Prefectures). The staff was courteous and professional, the room was large and clean, the location is at the waterfront right next to the Beppu Tower, and the Onsen experience was top notch -- with a partial view of the Beppu Tower in the outdoor bath. The morning Breakfast was worth the price with a variety of local Oita/Kyushu and normal Japanese fare. Parking was plentiful, although offsite. Plenty of Dinner and Lunch options close by and walking distance from the hotel. I really can't think of anything.

The staff was amazing and the onsen was perfect. Good value for price. The location is on the main street and close by to many restaurants. Highly recommended. Nothing bad to say at all.
-
Toilet and bathroom are separated; traditional Japanese meals were well-prepared The onsen facilities is a bit smaller. There are no soft drinks provided.
-
The front of the house was average. Service was not consistent. Some staff were outstanding but not all.
-
The food and the staff at both the breakfast and dinners were outstanding. Friendly and courteous they made our stay extra special. The food was more than we could have imagined. The chef prepared different foods for us every day so we never had the same thing again. It was exceptional. Not all in the front of the house staff was accommodating. There were instances that we experienced that needs improvement.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent and plentiful! 4-bed room was huge and a great value. Onsen was ok, not special but got the job done.
-
Breakfast was a traditional Japanese meal with very attentive staffers. Most of the servers were college age students who engaged in conversation when appropriate. Dinner was exceptional as we do not eat anything raw. BEDBUGS! I was bitten by bedbugs while rooming on the 6th floor. Not sure if the bedding was cleaned but the bedbugs were in there. Would not want to go back there when visiting Beppu.

There was one staff member that was friendly, a foreigner. Paid for 2 adults and 2 kids. The setup was only for adults, meaning that there were only 2 towels in the room, and the kids got only a bowl of rice for dinner. We could get more towels, but had to go to the front desk every day for it. They run out of coffee for breakfast. There were nuts in the food which was nowhere mentioned, leading to an allergy attack. Automatic light in the room that turns on if anyone goes to bathroom. Wakes up everyone in the room at night Would all be acceptable for a budget hotel, but they charge a premium.

The spaceous room and the private onsen. A big disappointment when the taxi driver at the JR Station declined to take us to the hotel because it was walking distance for him. It's actually over 15 to 30 minutes for us senior with our luggage. The next disappointment was that we arrived around noon and was told to return in 3 hours for a 3PM check in time. The last disappointment When we checked out the hotel. I was demanded to look for my card key when I misplaced one of the 2 keys. Fortunately, I found it. This will be my last visit to this hotel.

Nothing.

Very typical Japanese Onsen Hotel. Nice and clean bed, big, clean and well maintained onsen pools, piano demonstrated lobby and nice coffee provided.
-
The location is very convenient, the room is very bigger and comfortable and super clean! The hot springs is very cool! The Japanese style dinner and breakfast both are very delicious. Compared other hotel, the price is very reasonable. None
-
Great location, clean with outgoing staff. Huge room!
-
The accommodation was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the price was affordable, and it's close to shopping and the beach. I really liked this place and would stay here again if I have the opportunity. The hotel charges for the onsen, which we didn't have time for. If possible, we would appreciate it if the hotel would consider charging only for guests who use the onsen.
