Great location. Great owners. Great breakfast. Great restaurant. Great view. Great location. Extremely clean. Highly recommended.

Family owned place - made it feel very homey and comfortable. Incredible chef, we had dinner in the balcony, most delicious food we had in Berat. Being inside the castle, it was fantastic and could really take in the culture.

We enjoyed how small and cozy it was. We received great personalized attention as guests in one of four rooms. Additionally they were able to accommodate our dietary needs (celiac). The signs to get to the location were difficult to see at night, and it would he helpful to note they their place is within the castle walls. Google maps directions do not work to get there which is no fault of theirs, but good to note for future guests.

Friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. The accommodation was comfortable and we loved the room. Make sure to bring cash in LEK or Euro to pay for the room reservation.

Great position within the castle walls. Nice breakfast. Helpful relaxed family that run the hotel. Excellent shower and clean bathroom. Nothing

Parking nearby, with some fantastic restaurants within walking distance.

Not having coffee for breakfast, made it a bit of a rough start to our day ;) thankfully there are coffee bars close by

Run by a Friendly family. Nice breakfast. Bathroom was smaller than most - the door of the bathroom was literally part of the shower enclosure. I think, however, that the other rooms in the establishment don't have this issue.

My husband and I loved our stay here. The room was so cute and very comfortable. The surrounding around is a castle and there are plenty of restaurants. Easy walk to the main old town. ( the way up is uphill so I recommend a quick taxi if you have luggage). The family that owns the hotel is very friendly and cooked us breakfast every morning. I couldn’t recommend this place more! We hope to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful location right in the castle, great breakfast and comfortable room. Don't use Google maps to find this place! It led us down some really sketchy, steep, and narrow one way roads that came to a dead end! Just drive right into the main castle and follow the road on the right that parallels the northern wall. Some directions to the parking lot would have been useful. Otherwise this place was amazing!!

Family run property. Very friendly. Good breakfast and dinner. Excellent location inside castle walls. Very small room, only slightly bigger than the bed.

The hotel is situated in a cute, old building and decorated accordingly, but the main benefit is the place - we lived inside an ancient castle with paved streets and many small, old buildings. It was beautiful. And even though the castle is on a mountaintop (in many other countries you would have to buy a ticket to get in such place), in a an old town, we could park our car right near the hotel. The town below is also very nice. Everything was perfect, just a small suggestion - the restaurant sign and the pictures of the food there look a bit weathered, not tempting at all. I would suggest to remove the pictures at all as they are not inviting.

the accommodation is beautiful, right on the hill where the fortress is, well marked from the passing gate, excellent dinner and breakfast.

Wonderful position inside the citadel walls, along a quiet side street. The room was comfortable and cosy and the bathroom unexpectedly large. Very good breakfast and it was possible to eat at the guest house also for lunch and dinner (we had one of the best meals of the holidays! ). Parking is very close to the guest house. I would definitely recommend to stay here! It would be nice to have a common space in the guest house that is not outdoor, to spend some time if the weather is not good.

The old historic building in a beautiful castle. The very nice room, the great breakfast and the friendly and helpful family. It was a really pleasure to stay in this accommodation, highly recommended! Nothing.
