Buonocore Guesthouse

It is a very authentic very charming location in a wonderful old house. As a special bonus you have access to a cozy garden. Next to the guest rooms and in the garden there are kitchens you can use. Look at the pictures of the guesthouse and if you like what you see you will clearly not be disappointed. Ettore - the host - is a very welcoming and generous person. We learnt a lot about various aspects of Bergamo and you can really feel that he operates this guesthouse with lot of passion. So a big thank you from our side for the stay in Bergamo. There was nothing to dislike and we would go there anytime again.

We booked a room in an apartment with 2 bedrooms, this one had its own bathroom. The kitchen is a shared area that has a fridge and you can make coffee or tea. It also has a nice collection of different types of books, from National Geographic to philosophy ones. The room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable. We also had access to the garden, which is amazing, perfect to have a couple of late night drinks. The host is really friendly and very helpful, full of knowledge about good places to eat. We highly recommend the place!

We had a great stay at this accommodation! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant visit. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore the city and reach all the main attractions. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He provided us with excellent recommendations on places to visit, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Thanks to his tips, we discovered some amazing spots we might have otherwise missed. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place to other travelers. If we ever return to this city, we would definitely consider staying here again!

Exceptional

Nice and helpful owner, place very clean and quiet, close to city center the same like to old town.

The location. The apartment is very close to both railwaystation and old town. The host, Ettore, was very, very warm, kind, nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of useful informations and tips&tricks. Thanks a lot, dear Ettore! It was a liitle bit chilly in the apartment.(november was the period of accomodation)

Very nice host! ? The location was good! The garden was beautiful and we enjoyded that so much.

Great breakfast with bread, yoghurt, fruit and local cheese with tea or coffee. Property was unique and rooms private, with lovely gardens. Ettore was very helpful and friendly. Due to building work (renovating older parts of the building for extra rooms - we understand due to complete before the end of the summer), it wasn't possible to park outside the property - but we were able to park within 5 mins walk each night. Unfortunately the building work was quite noisy and intrusive each morning (apart from the weekend).

We felt very comfortable with everything at this guesthouse. We were made to truly feel at home. The host was welcoming and very generous with his time and gave us tips whenever we asked. He was always reachable and contributed massively towards our enjoyment of the holiday. The decor was arty and creative yet simple and tasteful with lots of interesting details to keep you interested. The garden was very special, a most relaxing green space with lots of interesting plants. A lot of care and consideration has gone into creating this guesthouse. A rare gem, we loved it! We liked everything.

Homely accommodation in a beautiful city. Host Ettore incredibly helpful.

Host Ettore was fabulous. The home was gorgeous, and the bed made me never want to leave it. I adored the clean and modern mixed in with adoration and appreciate of the old. All the plants made me feel right at home, and the clean look was delightful to my eyes. Massive bedroom and lovely. This is a well established property thats accounted for all the details. It is in close quarters with classic Italians who are late night people. That's just Italy! I also love some airflow via a fan or something, but I slept very comfortably with the window open. Honestly still such an excellent space.

Great place to stay! Excelent contact with Ettore (the owner), who gave us a lot of invaluable tips about Bergamo. This man really takes care of his guests. The guesthouse area itself is quiet, pleasant, within walking distance from the center and well connected to the railway station and the airport. PS. Delicious breakfasts served in the garden are definitely worth ordering. :-)

Accomodation is located in old building with soul and has a nice garden in the backyard where you can have breakfast or stay to relax. Our room was spacious, clean and had private bathroom included. Bed was very comfortable and the whole area is super quiet. I appreciate towels and slippers which were included. Location is close to main station which is convenient when you want to travel around in the region by train or bus. It's a bit more far away from the old town,but still manageable. Our host was very kind to show us places to visit around. I would appreciate more storage space in the room, like some shelves or small wardrobe. We stayed for 4nights and did not have much space for clothes. But this is just a minor thing.
