It was a really nice stay. The staff were friendly. The facility is clean. Location worked for our needs. They were helpful with places to go and parking. We’ve stayed there before and I’d stay there again. Nice Thai restaurant down the street.

staff was welcoming and attentive. the for a best western the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. It was a positive to have an enclosed garage for our car. Last time we were in berkeley our car was broken into by homeless. Everything was fine.

Clean room but limited amenities

The room was clean. The general manager canceled a night for me because my flight was delayed, really appreciate. I didn’t try them but there are bikes at your disposal. There are two buses (52 and 51B) going through the hotel location, very convenient. The district is quite weird. I stayed 6 days and there are weird people night and day in the neighbourhood. Also, the main avenue is very noisy until 10pm. This is OK, it’s not like people screaming, just cars. Main problem was that I had no internet for one week (!!!). The General Manager warned me and was sorry. For sure it will be fixed soon. But that was really not nice.

They were good about filling our request for what should have been a quiet room The cleaners started before 8 am on Sunday morning. Modest accommodation for the price.

No WiFi in a modern hotel is a deal breaker. PLUS it was over $300 per night for a motel type accommodation. I would never stay here again. No Wifi ??? And it was not a temporary issue as they had a sign in the lobby almost bragging about no WiFi plus I know they have WiFi as they lobby had WiFi but not in the rooms.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Like the food and coffee you can order. The valet service was super handy and fast. Staff were responsive and kind. Location is super convenient to all parts of Berkeley and Bart line. And the roof top deck was amazing! Neighborhood is a little rough- 7-11 across the street was busy with foot traffic and a few people experiencing homelessness sleeping in doorways. So I wasn’t as comfortable walking around to explore the neighborhood. No grab bars in the shower.

This was such a great lil hotel on the main strip and perfect to get you to your destinations. I appreciate the valet parking and helpful staff. I felt welcomed and safe. I'll definitely be back. Also the bed and pillows are to die for! Super comfy.
