-Clean -Distance to the airport -Lighting in the room -Hot shower -Fresh ventilation Upon arrival, my card did not work. Arrived past 11 p.m from Malawi., I requested to pay for a few nights while I sorted the issue with my bank the following day. I was informed that this was not possible because their system requires full payment upfront. I then asked to book just one night so I could rest, but this was also refused on the grounds that I already had an existing booking with them. Since no alternative was being offered, I requested to cancel the entire booking. However, I was told I would still need to pay in accordance with their policy. I then asked if I could remain in the lounge until morning while waiting to resolve the issue with my bank, but this request was also denied. So I couldn't leave, couldn't pay partly, couldn't book. Eventually, I was allowed to book one night, which I paid for, and I was able to access a room. The following morning, I booked and paid for another night. Despite this, I still ended up paying half of the original booking, even though I had initially requested to settle it in cash upon arrival due to my card not working. Although my bank later resolved the issue with my card, I ultimately decided to check out of the hotel despite its otherwise appealing environment. I'm a tour operator and with 3 lodges and at times we use compassion. Not like I wanted to enter without paying !! What unpleasant scenario especially after 24 hours travel.

They charged me twice for the stay. I've noticed it on my bank app rightaway and showed it at reception desk. They told me that it's not possible and must be bank issue. After few days when transactions were completed in my bank I reached out to them again via email and they lied me again that they had not charged me twice. Scammers, not recommend.

Comfortable beds. Breakfast options were limited e.g. no croissant, hash browns etc.

The hotel gave away our booking on a busy night in Berlin, I know our flight was delayed but they never tried to contact us just told us the rooms had been given away at 1am in the morning. they were very unhelpful is trying to assist us with anywhere else to stay and it was actually staff from another hotel (which was aslo booked out) that helped us find accommodation elsewhere. Clean, modern room of a decent size. The location is close to the airport and about 50 minutes on S 45 or 9 into Berlin. You can hear the planes taking off and landing, but it is not terrible.

Brand new. Quiet location. Cosy rooms. Efficient. Super easy quick walk access from SB. Great for late arrival from airport. Friendly staff.
