La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bessemer

Location was great with restaurants and gas stations near by. The place was clean and well maintained. Room was comfortable and well equipped.

Everything was nice and clean. It was updated and smelled really nice.

Basic short stay option. Elevator was not working when arrived and was repaired. No rooms available at check.in time. But overall clean facility and good beds for rest. Convenient location for our needs.

Even after we were stuck in the elevator today there has been no sign posted that the elevator is out of order. The office person stated that he is unable to contact anyone in management because the owner has several properties and is at another property and was not allowed to call him. He stated that the manager will be in tomorrow morning by 9:30AM. He later called another person once I said there was a matter of legal concern in the room of someone else that was visiting with us that person said the manager will not be in at 9:30 tomorrow morning because he is out of the country and unavailable. Too many inconsistencies are too many lies were told. Also to be noted the front desk person said he has only been at the property for 2 months he does not know how to contact anyone in management as he does not have the phone number for anyone in management. He stated that he is a part of their religion and he is working at the property to help them out. Conveniently though he stated that the older couple that was in the lobby after we were s

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, pool filtration not operating but pool was open with foul odor(unsafe). Elevator stopped working and guest were stuck. 70 year old had to walk stairs over and over being on third floor. Front desk staff lied about not being able to call the manager. Random dirty clothes in room. No housekeeping.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke and was quite dirty around the edges compared to the photos. I tried to switch rooms and was told checking out at 11pm was my only option. The floors were also extremely noisy. I could hear every step from next door customers, not the ones above me. I would not stay here in the future knowing what I know now.

The property was in a great safe area. The breakfast was really good. The only complaint I had was there is a very strong scent that lingers through the hotel. It’s very heavy and it left a taste in my mouth. We think it was the cleaning chemicals but it was awful.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay..exceeded our expectations!! Room was very clean and smelled amazing. The whole hotel smelled so clean. Room was very big and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and coffee was too. We would definitely stay here again

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice shower Party in the parking lot that went on until 4 AM until security finally came and busted it up at 4:30 AM. Huge fight in the room next door with people throwing things - possibly the other human.

Pleasantly surprised at this facility due to low cost. Great area with close walking to restaurants! Very comfortable bed and room was very nice. Breakfast was very good quality! Not a lot of choice but eggs sausage and biscuits were actually Good! This was a 3 week long trip so we were impressed with this particular property!
