The Inn is very quiet and peaceful unless you count the minister bells, but I soon got used to those It is in a great location for the minister and walking into town. Unlike some of the reviews, I found the facilities comfortable, if old, and no strange smells, except as below with the laundry. I stayed there for three nights and was very happy. There is a kettle, a fridge, and a microwave so it’s very easy to look after yourself on the food front. The facilities are old, but that’s not really a problem if they are clean which they were. It would be even better with detailed cleaning, but it was fine. What I didn’t like was the highly perfumed laundry soap that they use for the linens. That was a little overpowering along with air freshener in the lower corridor.

N/A More detailed info on access to the property. I was left doubtful about the arrangements. Travelling is difficult enough without doubts when more info would hve dispelled those doubts.

Access was round the back and somewhat dark at night, had to use the torch on my phone as the movement sensors didn't adequately cover

Facilities were decent. Kettle, TV, microwave etc. The location was excellent.quiet, peaceful with excellent surroundings. We booked as pet friendly but didn't bring the dog got a dog sitter instead. The room was cold. The bed wasn't really comfortable and the bedding despite putting extra single duvets on top of duvet didn't keep us warm. The heating didn't warm the large room to reasonable temperature. There was no storage for clothes. Finally the parking was difficult at times as residents seem to fill more spaces than are available. This was a shame because the hotel is in a really nice area. Everything else was fine. Although The access procedure meant we didn't see anyone during the stay the whole process is managed remotely via txt instructions which IS efficient if impersonal I hope these concerns can be rectified in the future but can't see us visiting again sorry.

-
Room rather cramped

There was no breakfast. Location was v good for the Minster. The reliance on remote staff, so there was no face to face contact.
-
Excellent location, with parking very close by. Helpful staff with booking system and entrance system Tea/coffee /microwave a bonus we were not expecting. Would happily go again.

Great communication and location, basic accommodation but good value for money. Parking permit was an added bonus. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the smell was there the whole time we were there

cheap and close to centre of town Other guests were either shouting about noise that we made which was minimal at 6.50am (just taking dog outside for toileting) or themselves being noisy late at night banging doors. Made us uncomfortable.

For a night out the location was great for us , close to the Sun Inn with live entertainment and take away for food at the end of the night. The cleanliness was really bad in some area's. The window sills, curtains, up keep of furniture. The bathroom was clean and bedding appeared to be clean. Such a shame because we would definitely stay again if abit more care and attention was given to the rooms. Such a lovely building and location.
