nothing I sent repearted requests for waiver of penalty. It is ok that they did not waive it off. But what was not good was that they never even bothered to reply. Never choosing Ginger again. It is very unprofessional.

The food offering was decent The hotel room did not match the pictures at all. The room was really old. All the furniture, bathroom, fittings, tiles, were really old and getting rusty. Did not expect this from Ginger. Probably, the hotel never renovated its room since its foundation.

My reservation was cancelled at last moment stating that they did not get the reservation information from Booking.com timely.

We left early and they did prepare a descent breakfast for us to take away. More space, more towels needed.

The staff specially the reception and the managerial was horrible and insensitive. They had no respect for guest needs. Tried ordering a simple sandwich and it took over 45 minutes to start making. I finally canceled the order out of frustration and they were happy to accept the cancelation. The water pipe in thr adjoining room broke, and ky room was flooded with water. The housekeeping team did their best to clean it and make it comfortable for us, but the rest of the hotel did not care and were not even aware of it. When I asked the reception if the could change my room, they refused to acknowledge the fact that any such thing happened. The hot water system malfunctioned. The hotel is good, location is even better. I have respects for the housekeeping team, they were really good. But the rest of the staff is worthless.

This is a good hotel. Reasonably clean with a good dining room, source of drinking water on each floor. The hotel seems to be frequented by business travellers from respectable companies. Therefore, all around, there are pretty decent and down-to-earth people. The hotel staff are particularly helpful. However, over the years, they have not evolved a lot. Some twenty years ago, the facilities would have been considered pretty good. However, now there are many hotels that are providing much better facilities and comfort at a similar cost. I got a good deal with Rs. 3,500-ish per day. Therefore, I have nothing much to complain about. I noticed that sometimes the tariff of the rooms goes as high as Rs. 8000-ish. That is downright unfair, considering the quality of the product.

The location of the hotel and the price for that is good. The breakfast was okay at best because it lacked lot of options. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The rooms were small, buffet lunch was not that great, had very few options. The Wi-Fi is very bad, you end up paying for a plan to get some decent connection.
