We really enjoyed our stay at the Le Petit Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is amazing, and it was so pleasant to sleep to the sound of the ocean. We had a medical emergency, and the owner, Jerome, allowed my mom to stay in the room even after checkout time and helped out with additional information. We really appreciate his help and being so gracious.

Location is great, close to restaurants, beach, shops, etc. There is no elevator which was not a problem for me as I was travelling with a backpack; however, one of my friends had a larger suitcase which was a real challenge to get up multiple flights of a winding staircase. The email with the change in code was sent to me after I had left Canada and I did not have access to my email without wifi so I did not have the new code that was provided in this email to enter the hotel upon arrival. There were no staff to provide access.

Great location, not far from the sea I almost never leave negative reviews, but this time I have to. We arrived to the hotel at 3 p.m. (check in was from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.). The front door was locked and nobody was inside. We tried to call to the numbers that were on the door, nobody answered. The pin code that was on the confirmation email didn't work either. We stayed outside with our bags, not knowing how or when we could get in. Luckily finally some other guests came outside, let us in and told us the right pin code (which was completely different than the one we had). Our key was on the reception desk. We then tried to book a breakfast, but it was impossible since we never saw anybody on the front desk (we went there many times), and nobody still answered the phone or called us back. We didn't see them in the morning either. After our stay we wrote them an email to give this feedback and let them a chance to answer, but they never did. To this day we have never seen the staff or heard from them, despite having stayed at the hotel and calling and emailing them many times. All in all, the check in problems caused us stress and a lot of lost time waiting outside. We understand that a small hotel can't have 24/7 reception and that's totally fine, but without the other helpful guests, we don't know how we would have been ever able to get in. So don't expect any kind of contact, service or communication, and prepare to wait undefined time to get to your room.

I really liked how welcoming the staff were and how helpful. I liked the fact that it was a very peaceful hotel. I appreciated complimentary toiletries. Everything was fine for me. Thank you.

No elevators and it was a little loud - walls were thin.

The location was the only thing this hotel had to offer. No one at reception either when we arrived or left the following morning. We met a cleaner who couldn’t speak English so she wasn’t able to tell us where we could get a taxi . Room was tiny. You had to step over your cases as there was no place to put them. We had booked to stay there on our return to Biarritz but cancelled because fortunately we hadn’t paid in advance

It was a lovely stay. Everything was clean. The room and the bathroom were spacious. Amazing localisation. The staff is very nice. Would definitely recommend!
