Basic hotel used for one night to watch the athletics at Alexandra Stadium. Basic hotel, nothing fancy, just somewhere to stop for the night and comfortable Breakfast was decent Decor pretty basic, carpet etc. not the nicest close in when pulling in to the hotel.

Good location The mattress were terrible. Uncomfortable, very springy, you could actually feel springs going into your spine. “Large” double bed was not large, it was just standard double bed if not smaller.

Extra bed. The staff I can’t speak highly of. We are regularly stay at the hotel and they recognise us now. We had to book in a day early. And accommodated us with easy

Close to central Birmingham and stadiums While some of the staff was very nice and helpful some other was very cold and a bit unwelcoming

Friendly staff and room was quite good. Bed configuration via Booking.com apparently lost so got wrong option but the hotel managed to find a solution.
