Great location in the centre of Blackheath, could walk to all of the town points of interest. Pleanty of parking in the hotel grounds, and friendly staff. Perfectly fine. Nothing we didn't like, met our expecations of a country town pub, basic, clean and acomfortable.

Decent food, nice and warm, heated fireplaces are always very pleasant! Blackheath is a cute village and has a great atmosphere. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was able to accommodate my request to ensure the room was not cleaned with chemicals or no disinfectants/sprays used. I have an aversion to chemical smells, so this was greatly appreciated.

The appearance of the hotel in general was quite pleasant and the staff were polite and friendly when we arrived. We received our key and went to the room. Didn't have much interaction with the staff for the duration of the stay due to time commitments for events we were attending. The size of the room was quite spacious and the beds were quite comfy especially after a long day. Also the added bonus of having Netflix and other movie channels available free was quite handy. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the food, as we ate on the way to and from our event due to time restrictions. Unfortunately the negative things we discovered in the room and in the ground floor toilets, the shower head in the room and in the bathroom located upstairs in the hallway next to our room appeared old and antique looking and it took several attempts to get a suitable hot water flow and the pressure from them was poor especially the one in the bedroom to the extent my Daughter ended up having a cold shower. Also the lid of the toilet seat in the room was broken and the toilets downstairs although we didn't actually use them, appeared quite run down and in poor condition. The urinals were stained and appeared rusted and corrosion on the metal surfaces. Also we understood that there was a bar downstairs which was all good, however we weren't aware that there was going to be live bands playing on the Friday and Saturday nights and due to the event we were attending at Bathurst, we were having to leave early in the morning and were arriving back late in the evenings and were looking forward to a much needed sleep after a long drive. Due to the loud music, it was difficult to get to sleep as it travels upwards throughout the hotel. If it was possible to install some effective sound proofing to reduce the noise level upstairs in the rooms, then that would help.

Good value for money. Staff is excellent
-
It doesn’t have aircon and the train can be too noisy if you open the window

Great food, very clean and a unique historical significance. Close to amazing lookouts and blue mountains bushwalks.

Location was excellent. Bistro meals were great. Spacious family room. The room lacked air conditioning. There was some general heating that turned off at 9pm and the room was very cold after that.

Amazing stay to discover BlackHeath. Just couple of minutes from the Train station. Spotless room and bathroom. It's really the place to be. During lunch time is full, and food looks amazing. At night there was live music and I tasted of my best ciders! THey have electric blankets and the location is super convenient to discover the wonders of the Blue Mountain. It's an heritage building and it was visited by C Darwin! Nothing

Very conveniently located across the street from the train station. Love the pub downstairs.

The room faced the train track side. Trains honk during the night.

Not that much Rooms were small, shared bathroom, small bed, uncomfortable pillows, noisy.
