This was my first stay at the Avon since it changed ownership and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was favourably impressed. It is now very clean and tidy, and they have created a pleasant communal sitting area downstairs. Ammar is very nice and helpful. He changed my room to one on a lower floor when he saw I'm a bit decrepit, lol. My room was comfortable with everything I needed and everything worked properly. The wifi was excellent. I will definitely stay here again. The one small issue was that the bathroom door was so stiff I couldn't move it in either direction and had to work round it.

The Avon host is so nice! He upgraded the room for us for free, also let me check out later at the checkout date which gave me a lot convenience! The room is clean and comfortable, and the location is very good, very close to Winter Gardens!

Owner Chris is very friendly. Breakfast superb. Rooms excellent. It is a bit untidy at the front of the hotel (outside).

Good Breakfast lots to eat Cereals bacon sausage beans mushrooms tomatoes egg hashbrowns fried bread tea coffee orange juice, Chris was excellent host very helpful. we definitely will be back again.

A Great Stay , Good Location Not far from Town 5 - 10 minutes stroll , Breakfast Amazing and Really Nice.. If You Want the Hilton or the Ritz Hotel Go pay the prices but you won't go far wrong Staying here !

Chris the host was really friendly, helped with my bags, got me an extra towel and cooked my breakfast to order.

Staff were brilliant. Would stay here again The door could of been a bit better. Had to make a lot of noise closing it.

A good sized and comfortable room A fine cooked breakfast and cereal if required Town centre location, but in a quiet area.
