Breakfast on Thursday was not very good. 3 out of 5 stars.

Dave at the desk was very helpful and helped smooth my extra night layover.

Satisfactory for the price.

A somewhat minimalist Hampton. No closet - just a rack behind a curtain. No clock and no microwave. Comfortable and quiet, though - we slept well. Cleaning not as good as it should be - bathroom floor quite dirty.

The staff was rude. No house keeping unless you requested it. No soap and couldn’t get anyone to bring us some. I asked that the manager call me never heard from them. Also, I booked this on Expedia due to weather restrictions. I had to leave a day early. They would not refund the extra day. They told me I had to go through Expedia hindsight I should’ve told them when I was checking in. I’m not booking through Expedia because I did not put a deposit down through Expedia. I could’ve just booked it straight at the desk.

Bloomington is home to the University of Indiana, so there is an over abundance of resources for lodging, dining, retail, recreation and entertainment. The room was nice, but not vacuumed to Hampton standards. The bed was softer than I prefer, but might be perfect for someone else. Easy on and off from l-69.

Great pool. Friendly reception staff. Easy Uber into town.

We stayed one night. Location was perfect. Room was clean. We had no issues. Would stay again.

Old hotel. I think there were flees in one room, besides it being dirty. I asked to be given a different room and it was ok, but carpet was rippled and old. Never staying there again, and possibly not at any Hampton Inns unless I know for sure the room has been refurnished, since Hampton Inn has been around for a long time.

The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The Parking is free and easy. The room was clean . We always stay here when we visit family.

When I got in the shower it took about 5 minutes for the water to get hot. Than I realized each dispenser of soap was completely empty. I had to get out the shower and go ask the front desk for soap. The bed looked like it was remade with the sheets from before. Very sloppy and unkempt. Glad I brought my own blankets and pillows. The staf was very nice! Breakfast was pretty decent. Wish they offered some sort of meat to go with the eggs.

The biggest issue by far was the room. As soon as we walked in, it had a very strong musty odor that smelled like mold or wet carpet. It never went away during our stay, and it made the room feel dirty even though it appeared to be reasonably clean. The hotel also seems overdue for a remodel. There were several maintenance repairs throughout the room that looked hastily done instead of properly fixed, which added to the worn-down feel. Breakfast was disappointing. Most of the items that are typically available were either out of stock or unavailable. The cereal dispenser was broken, there wasn’t any milk out, and a staff member had to bring me a bag of cereal and some milk from the back. While she was helpful, the overall breakfast experience was lacking. Outside, there were a few people hanging around smoking cigarettes for much of our stay. I never felt unsafe, and I’d rate the area around a 7/10 for safety, but it wasn’t the most welcoming first impression. Parking was also a little tight. We arrived on a Friday, and the lot was nearly full. I was able to park my boat near the front, which worked out, but guests with larger vehicles or trailers may have a harder time finding space. Overall, this hotel isn’t awful, but it’s also not one I’d be eager to stay at again. If they addressed the musty, mold-like smell in the rooms, updated

The hotel room and staff were very good. The area around the hotel was good. I would stay here again. The biggest issues we had were the pillows were super soft (no neck support) and the lack of breakfast choices (they were out of regular waffle batter only had red velvet and no stand alone eggs).

It was a great stay! The pool was kept at a great temperature. The staff was great and helpful. Even the breakfast was good. They ran out of pancake mix and she didn’t hesitate to make some more 15 min before breakfast was over. The front desk was easy to talk to and helpful when I asked questions. The room was clean and didn’t smell bad like some hotels. I really enjoyed our stay.

At any rate, the desk clerk was so nice. He was very nice and very friendly when we checked in also. The only negative comment I would have is only two wash cloths and one of the towels was very skimpy. Also I could not get the shower to drop to the faucet. We were in room 128. Thank you.

The room was just ok. Breakfast was awful. No one keeping the food fresh or refilling food and utensils. This 2 star hotel also tends to raise prices from $120/nt to $1100 per night on IU move in dates and parent weekends, thus taking advantage of parents who are trying to help their teenagers become brand new college students.
