Had a great stay at Casa Mare. Hotel has been totally renewed. Before I made reservation I was scared then I realised hotel has been done up. It was very clean and breakfast was great. Owner Melik is a nice guy and offered me an cocktail .

Best thing about the property was the view and the room service meal - not very clean - my room didn’t come with any toiletries - room service never came to my room even after we asked them to. - there were no lights working in the hallway - there was a light not working in my room

Hotel located on top of a steep heel, staff can be rude sometimes. Breakfast needs improvement.

No direct access to the beach, very poor breakfast, dirty room and not daily cleaning, noisy and bad internet connection, poor English with staff.

The hotel is fine the view is beautiful and staff are friendly and welcoming especially Sulaiman and Nazi Internet is very slow I booked a boat trip that the transfer both ways was included but when i was going there the receptionist told me that i have to get a taxi myself and that transport is not included while i payed for it Breakfast can be better

The view was wonderful from the balcony! It seemed the city was more or less closed for the season, so a lot of things were shut down and it seemed we were one of just a few staying there. The staff was nice though. The breakfast could have definitely been better with a few more options.

The number 1 thing that caught our attention in this stay is the exceptional view!!! It was just marvelous. You could stay at the balcony the whole day and never get enough of the view. The size of the room was good compared to what we expected. It was overall clean and comfy. The fact that it was just 4 minutes walking from the beach is also good. Without a car or a taxi, it's very difficult to get to the location of the stay because it was situated on a steep slope. There was humidity and damp problems in the walls inside the room, which was really ugly to see. The breakfast was average.

The location is perfect, so close of Marina. The view from the top floors is the best, especially for see the sunrise. The visit on that wonderful city was one of our best experiences, but the bad thing was the hotel, normally when we want to know a new place, make tours and visit different places people need a low cost hotel because the import in this situation is the location, have a clean washroom, a confortable bed and good breakfast. On Casa Mare, the location was perfect, really close of marina, the breakfast was so basic, we expected something with more variety, and only from 8am to 10am, can not take it if need out early for any tour. The cleaning of bathrooms so bad, washroom full of mold on the floor and around windows, general cleaning not ok, even I requested to the personnel on the morning of one of the days clean properly the bathroom and change the Hot Water Jar because was dirty, and they didn’t do nothing, only change the towels. On the night of same day I requested one more time change or clean properly the hot water jar and with the intervention of manager it was cleaned ok. In addition, the bed sheets were stained, visually when you get to a room like that it is not very pleasant. It is evident that the hotel is managed by a small group of people and perhaps there are many tasks to do.However, they should take more care on the details and thus improve the quality of service, which is what attracts tourists more than a nice view of the sea.

Beautifully kept, room updated, with decent view Internet was off when we arrived and didn’t come on until next midday. We needed it for business.

Only nice thing they had nice view. The hotel was up the hill , some taxi didn't drop us up so we had to walk each time to the hotel. They DO NoT have direct access to the beach, u will have to go to the public beach down the hill with small space and very crowded. Or you will have to go other hotel and pay for the access and food. The toilet had weird smell, the cleaning service in the hotel is not good. The hotel photos in the website are not realistic, the room are very tight and small. They have animal access wich can get annoying with the noises. Breakfast options are very limited.

The view and pool were beautiful, breakfast was fairly good and the staff mostly helpful. No public transport into town, only out, meaning a 20-40 minute walk depending on which part of town you wanted to visit. Staff not forthcoming with options of how to get around. No sheet or doona on the bed, just a cotton blanket which wasn’t tucked in. Shower head wasn’t adjustable. No housekeeping second morning.
