Hotel Accademia

Great location, 10 minutes from central Bologna and many bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. Good airconditioning, essential in the recent hear wave. Comfortable bed room , we had a suite which was very spacious. Breakfast was perfect, cereal, fruit, eggs, cheese and barista coffee. There is no lift, did this not bother us at all but important to note.

You can hear everything through the walls (even people brushing their teeth)

Decent hotel, poor breakfast varietyThe hotel itself was good enough and met our expectations for comfort and cleanliness. The only real downside was the breakfast. There were far too many sweets and not enough real food or savory choices.

The staff was incredibly nice and very supportive throughout my stay. The hotel is perfectly located—close to everything in the city. I loved the beautiful city view from my room. Also, while the room was a bit small, it was very clean and had absolutely everything I needed." The lack of an elevator is a major downside. It’s a real pain, especially if you have a lot of luggage or are staying on a higher floor—carrying everything up the stairs is exhausting. Additionally, the bathroom has no window and the exhaust fan is very weak, meaning it lacks proper ventilation and odors linger for a long time.

I had a single bed with a private bathroom. It was very clean. The location happened to be near one of the restaurants featured in the food tour I booked, so it was convenient for me. The breakfast had a good variety and coffee is made to order. It was brutally hot the day I arrived. The room has it's own AC unit but it didn't feel strong enough at the height of the afternoon heat.

Room was quiet and pleasant and staff was always friendly and helpful Shower was very small

Great hotel. Rooms were very clean and the staff was outstanding. Breakfast was very good. Nothing.

Location, comfort Not being able to just get coffee when you want. Had to wait for a single waitress to make rounds. Self serve coffee would be appreciated by others we spoke with as well.

Location!! Very vibrant, buzzy district. Very central. Fantastic breakfast room & choice of breakfast foods You need to be skinny & athletic to squeeze in the shower enclosure

The Hotel is just minutes away from the centre and from the main train station making it ideal to visit Bologna and some cities in the area. It is in a very safe neighbourhood ideal also for families with children. Nothing in particular. Would definitely stay in this hotel if I revisit Bologna.

First night in Italy, perfect for what I needed. The room was small but so was the price so can't have everything Nothing, everthing was so so fine. Staff were great, breakfast was great.

Breakfast excellent; good selection and fresh daily with scrambled eggs included!
