Right in the heart of Bologna’s Old Town. Couldn’t get a better location! Surprisingly very quiet considering the central location and we were there on one of the busiest weekends of the year. We rented the entire 2 floor apartment for 2 couples. It is a B&B so you could potentially be sharing with other people just to be aware. A small balcony off the upstairs bedroom and a Juliet balcony off the kitchen. Kitchen had a bar fridge with milk, yogurt and juice. There was coffee, a kettle, cereal and some packaged pastries with all the necessary dishware and cutlery. (Italy does not allow B&B’s to serve fresh foods.) No microwave or other kitchen facilities. Marco was an excellent host. Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and quick to respond to WhatsApp messages. There was really only one shower downstairs. The upstairs bath had a bathtub but was too short to have a proper shower. A bath seat would have worked well there but we managed fine.

Difficult to get to with a lot of luggage. But thats not the owners fault!

Excellent location in the heart of the city center. The apartment includes a small balcony with a perfect view to some icons of Bologna. A parking service is available with an extra fee, which is a very good service if you are driving. It would be good if the breakfast includes fresh bread, cheese or ham.

Amazing central location, very considerate owner and extremely smooth transactions, clean and comfortable rooms, parking available in a hotel at a 2 min walking distance. Everything was good

Marco is excepcional, helping at any time for smooth and comfortable stay. Superb location, clean and charming rooms.

Clean, easy to use, good communication, Nespresso machine with pods which was very welcome as well as various breakfast items. It would be nice to have a sink other than the one in the bathroom.

Pleasant

The location couldn't be better. The rooms on the second level has enormous charm, and this level feels very private. The connecting deck would have been wonderful to use in better weather. Our host was gracious, respectful and helpful. No direct curb access for a taxi for the mobility challenged, the nearest street drop off is maybe 30 meters. For some reason, our taxi driver dropped us off a few blocks away.

Disappointing

Marco is extremely responsive to requests for information, and provides excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The location is fantastic!

communication with host, information provided, location was excellent, general cleanliness, facilities. smell in one of the rooms, heavy smell of cigarettes.

Exceptional

Great coffee and breakfast options. Very much in the centre of three old town. Good choice of restaurants in the area. The pillows were a bit harder than I like.

Very good location, comfortable, all facilities and utilities you need, friendly and helpful staff -

Lovely room and very clean facilities, which are cleaned daily. The owner was amazing, made check in and check out very easy. He printed something off for me and was a great host throughout the stay. Highly recommend this stay! It’s in the city centre (which is beautiful) and a 20minute walk to the train station.
