Galliera Residence B&B

Well located hotel, close to the center, great breakfast. Like most boutique hotels in Italy, the area surprises you because it looks wore down and with graffiti. It is fine at the end.

Great location close to the railway station. Super clear instructions. Very friendly staff. We were allowed to keep our room longer and walk around the city center. Fantastic stay. I do recommend this B&B. Coffee capsules weren't as tasty as you could expect in Italy :)

Excellent location close to both the old city and train station. Good breakfast. Very comfortable large room and large bathroom. Would stay there again. nothing I can think of.

Location quiet, close to train station, walking distance from all the major sites. Allowing us to leave our suitcases after check out and have access to the lovely terrace was great. Everything was great for us - couple with no kids.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Great location, just a few minutes walk from the central station and the historic city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard but sufficient to keep you going until lunch. none

A nice bedroom and bathroom in a residential building. Comfortable bed and bedding and a modern bathroom. An easy walk from the train station which makes it also easy if arriving at the airport - hop on the Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale and you are there. It’s also close to the main plaza. Communicative host. Typical Italian breakfast, lots of sweets and breads. The room is on the small side, no place to open luggage.

Renovated and well maintained rooms. Comfortable beds and clean , roomy bathrooms. Helpful and customer oriented staff.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, to the saddening day I had to check out, I felt like home.. The room was very clean and neat, bathroom was awesome from the water pressure to the design.. Staff was very friendly, they even asked if I had any allergies, due to their guest policies.. The entrance of the hotel and rooms are card-free, so you need to set a 6-digit password yourself.. Using less plastic while not worrying about losing your keycard is very comforting for green-lovers like me.. They also had bunch of different containers to recycle and seperate trash, another 10 points =) Breakfast was better than my expectation and free snacks in the kitchen that await for you was a very nice touch.. Location is another golden buzzer.. It takes 5-6 minutes to walk to the main train station, and 9-10 minutes to the monorail that serves between the airport and the city center.. Everything is in walking distance as well.. Everything was flawless.. Thank you so much!

Would have liked some fresh cut fruit at breakfast

I really like the keyless entry feature for the building and room access. The rooms are in two groups of three around an available common areas which include a private outdoor terrace, microwave, eating area, and snacks. The two young women were exceptional hostesses. The bathroom was great with a great shower. If I am back in Bologna for more than one night, I would stay at Galliera again so I guess there isn't much that I didn't like.

Room was clean, staff was excellent and friendly. There was (no exaggeration) 10 seconds of hot water in the shower. This was after numerous attempts at a shower over the course of the stay. If you are sharing a hot water heater across all of your rooms, that’s not acceptable. Otherwise, everything was great.

We stayed at galleria on our last night in the city and had a fantastic experience. Check-in was seamless—they kindly let us check in much earlier than expected since we had just disembarked from a cruise. The staff were genuinely warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Since we were leaving at 4am the next morning, they thoughtfully prepared a charcuterie tray to go—completely unprompted and incredibly kind. The location is excellent. We walked from the train station with ease, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. A perfect spot for a short stay, especially if you’re catching an early train or flight.

The location was perfect because it was near the train station and it was also central to the entire city. The breakfast was fantastic - everything was fresh and the cappuccino was delicious. My husband and the other couple we were traveling with loved having breakfast on the enclosed porch area of the dining room. I can't think of anything to improve. We would stay at Galliera Residence again when visiting Bologna. We loved staying there.

Our room was large (we stayed in a triple room) and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing - 2 sinks, a rainhead and hand-held shower. The breakfast was fantastic. The owner and her staff were professional, kind, and we felt cared for throughout our 7-night stay.

Wonderful location in Bologna. It was clean, larger than most European rooms, and breakfast was great! nothing, we would stay here again
