I like the area and design and atmosphere a lot. Check out times are flexible too. Service was either okay or a little grumpy but that’s how most Bordeaux service levels are :-), people don’t smile that much here. Room was sooo hot and and the provided ventilator was quite noisy. Not possible to sleep with an open window either because the room is right next to the gallery. However with any type of normal or cold weather this shouldn’t be a problem.

Reminded me of a Mine site action notation yet good. Looks like only just built relatively new. Good facilities. Yet the tram line was under construction. So confusing to get to. Tram live was under construction

Our young family stayed here for 3 nights as part of our French hostelling holiday and it was one of the best hostels we'd ever experienced. The room is beautifully and efficiently designed, with built-in bunkbeds for children above the parents bed and cupboards. Small kitchen was well stocked and the common areas were fun and funky. Most important of all, being on the top floor of the main building means we had AC, as well as electric blinds to keep heat out - a godsend during the heatwave. The breakfast buffets was very well stocked and the restaurant itself was excellent. Top marks! The TV streaming didn't work but we didn't bother getting that sorted as we were always out sight seeing, so not a bug deal

Convenient. the hotel was very clean and the room was very good. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the children loved their bunk bed experience. all good

Very friendly staff at the reception. It was extremely hot in the room. Airco was missing but is absolutely necessary.
