The Sottovento hotel is in the center of Bormio, about 2625 feet far from the local ski resort of Bormio. It offers refined suites with flat-screen satellite TV, most with balcony and free Wi-Fi. The spacious suites have chestnut wood furniture and some stone details on walls or pavements. They include a seating area and a bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Most of them overlook the mountains. Guests enjoy free access to the on-site hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna previous checking the availability. The reservation is compulsory. Sottovento Luxury Hospitality also offers special rates to go to BAGNI DI BORMIO (Bagni Nuovi and/or Bagni Vecchi). The property produces and sells chocolates and pastries and fresh dishes. These are served at the bar of the Hotel. Our breakfast is served only with room service. Our SPA is opened everyday between 12.00 and 21.30 and You can book it previous checking the availability and reservation. Children under 14 y.o. are not allowed. We are in the Stelvio National Park. Breakfast was good quality and customizable. Small kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. Friendly staff and responsive to questions via Booking pre check-in. On-site bar had a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, and pastries (but charged 5€ fee for eating in-room, even though we offered to take it ourselves, the food arrived with no napkins or water or whatever the actual restaurant experience would have provided, the dishes were never collected) Bathroom had a disabled-access toilet (no lid, hard, cold, oversized) which was uncomfortable and unhygienic to flush. No AC, and window had no fly net so insects got in. Mattress was way too soft, made it hard to sleep. Washing machine had no dryer and nowhere to hang wet clothes. Power went out in our room one afternoon, staff only realized once we reported it. No lounge, gym, or other facilities you'd expect from a "luxury" hotel — not a deal breaker for us since we were out most of the time, but worth knowing.

The atmosphere, the staff, the coffee shop / bakery downstairs and obviously the view and location makes this place unbeatable. We actually changed our travelling plans in order to stay in this hotel. We have been here before and I think it’s safe to say we will becoming back again. We sadly had to leave and go back due to my daughter’s school reopening after autumn break.

Beautiful hotel, great facilities, kind staff and breakfast was awesome. The bathroom wasn't ideal for us as a family with a toddler.

Beautiful property, well-maintained, with very nice interior design, comfortable and well-equipped rooms, great breakfast and kind staff. Would definitely want to come back!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, it was vey clean, cozy and fives the feeling of privacy and exclusivity. Each room has a designated parking spot so there is “competition”. Booking the SPA of the hotel makes for a private experience as only one couple can be there at a time. As a bonus there was a scenic view from the balcony.

Knowledgeable staff who gave a lot of useful information, spotless clean very comfortable room, spa with good Mountain View with two kinds of sauna, special breakfast delivered to the room, very good location that’s few minutes to old town shopping street but quiet neighbourhood, secured basement parking with bike storage room that can be locked, kitchen had everything you need, everything was great! Great location and parking. Lovely apartment- well appointed and included lots of extras like a washing machine with washing powder replenished each day, access to the spa etc. staff very friendly and the breakfast is generous. All very comfortable. Nothing.

Super nice, kind and helpful staff! Leonardo organised gluten free options for us for breakfast! Bike storage room with a big pump! They have everything someone would need! Beautiful view from the room over the mountains! Thank you for everything! We will be back!

Amazing! We stopped in Bormio for lunch on the way home from a 2 week road trip and were so impressed with the surroundings we decided to stay the night. Choosing this hotel was the best decision as the staff, room and views were amazing. Breakfast in the room was a very nice touch and there was so much to choose from. I was blown away when they arranged to send a birthday cake to the room after learning it was my birthday the following morning. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

Very friendly staff. Helped us with arranging breakfast even we went out cycling 06:00 in the morning. In all ways a very good experience. The staff at this hotel should serve as role models for staff in this business !

Location is perfect for enjoying the historic center and walking paths. Breakfast in the room was great, and everyone there was so friendly and warm! Super nice room.
