Located in front of the cable car for Bormio 2000 ski area, Hotel Alù Mountain Design is just a short walk from the center of Bormio. Parking is free. Beautifully renovated rooms, blending traditional elements with modern designs. Rooms are very spacious and our room had a large balcony with mountain views. I notified the front desk during our reservation that we require safe parking for your sports car and when we arrived the perfect spot was already blocked and reserved, fantastic! Management and staff were very attentive, even though we arrived late on a Saturday night the concierge did his utmost to secure us a table at a wonderful local high end restaurant where we enjoyed a very special and memorable dinner. Nothing really, the location is quiet yet just a 10 min walk away from the historic centre. We did not try the wellness facilities, because we arrived late and did not really have enough time. We hope to do so next time!

Great location at the base of the ski lift, yet close (400 yards) to town. Excellent staff, from front desk staff, to restaurant wait staff, to housecleaning staff. Very nice room. On site parking for free. Comfortable lobby like sitting in one’s own living room. Very good food at breakfast and dinner at reasonable prices. Very small shower, hard mattress and pillows.

Very stylish and beautiful hotel in central Bormio. Everything was perfect, the interiors with a lot of attention to details. Great breakfast selection. Really appreciated the free cycling clothes washing service. super well equipped bike storage. maybe the only thing that from the sauna you can’t go outside into the garden directly

Always clean, you could not ask anything that the staff would not resolve, Paul (barman) was excellent. 5 stars from me every day if the week. Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness.
