Most of the rooms have no windows, and on arrival they will ask you to pay more for a decent room. The main building has no sound insulation, and any sound from the lobby or other rooms get amplified, making sleep near impossible. Also, the beds are not comfortable. The swimming pool that is advertised does not exist. The breakfast is no more than a coffee and a croissant. Do not be fooled by the apparent nice look and surroundings of the hotel.

It is a nice quaint family run hotel. Great location by Mount Vesuvius! Really quiet place. Freshly baked Crossiants for breakfast were a nice touch. Owners are really nice and friendly. Plenty of room for parking.

location was close to the wedding we attended, nice area, nice staff

Near the volcano, free parking. Wifi not working, LED lights in the room that could not be turned off and looked like a disco - you had to turn off the plugs. Water in the bathroom would not drain. In addition, the contents were knocked out of the pipes in the toilet.

Peaceful mountainside setting with great views of Vesuvius and across the bay. . Comfortable bed and room in good condition. Wonderfully quiet location far away from noise or traffic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices were very good. Plenty of room for on site parking if you bring a vehicle. Perfect place from which to explore the moutain parkland. Air conditioning worked well. Very nice to meet Sirio, the hotel dog ? Location is a little difficult without own transport but hotel staff can help.

I’m writing a long review because I feel that the other reviews on this site are biased and highly inaccurate. The hotel looks exactly as shown in the photos, including the dog. As a matter of fact, It is even better in some ways, since the property is high up on Mount Vesuvius. You can go into the front yard and have an amazing view of the volcano and the bay below. This would be an idyllic place for a wedding! The staff is wonderfully accommodating, and they are, in fact, on-duty 24/7. The breakfast is a standard Italian breakfast: 2 pastry rolls, served warm, fruit juice and espresso. The host kindly ordered me a pizza for dinner which was tasty, and inexpensive (5€). He also took the time to show me and other guests around the property. It was obvious that he cares a lot about his guests. The rooms are well- furnished, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was truly beautiful, with mosaic tiles on the floor and halfway up the walls, with stylish fixtures. They provide free shampoo, soap, etc, as well as towels. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work.
