Pristine stay

Breakfast is superb. Def have the lobster omelette The hotel is currently creating a new Mediterranean option restaurant so eating on the ground floor was a little cramped but the standard of the food was superb.

Exceptional

The room was spotless, and the housekeeping service was outstanding. Every member of the housekeeping staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The gym was also excellent—well-equipped and one of the highlights of the hotel There were several disappointing aspects. First, the hotel barely has a lobby, which is surprising for such an expensive Five-Star property. There is no proper hotel restaurant, and at certain times of the day there is no bar or food service available, forcing guests to leave the hotel for meals or drinks. I ended up going to the Sheraton nearby several times, which felt very unusual for a Four Seasons. The Booking.com photos are also misleading. The image with beautiful trees is actually of the Four Seasons Hotel Boston in the Public Garden, not the One Dalton property. One Dalton is surrounded by buildings and offers a completely different setting. I was also disappointed with the front desk. On several occasions, the staff seemed unprepared to answer relatively straightforward questions or assist with requests. While everyone was polite, the level of knowledge and service fell well below what I expect from a Four Seasons. Overall, the experience was nowhere near what I expected considering the price I paid.
