Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy

Perfect location, lobby and general public area is nice. The rooms are worn and require an upgrade. For the price I expected better. The food is decent, and restaurant staff helpful, valet Exceptional. Front desk staff ok but the red hair manager was a bit non caring and rude, not directly to me but what I witnessed regarding an unclean room and her response was unacceptable. In addition my room had a poor musty odor, I was able to change my room and it was slightly better. However, a few guest I met said their rooms had a bad musty odor. Overall for the convenience it was nice, simply disappointed in the room as a whole.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. The staff let me check in early. The facilities are the coolest! Huge putting green, green space for corn hole, ping pong. The pool is nice too! Perhaps the best part are amazing lounge areas to wait the thunderstorms out in as well. Also the proximity to the IMG campus was great for camp too. The room was nice and clean and comfy beds too! I have nothing negative to say! So glad my son got to experience golf camp here!

Normal, I was dropping off my son at IMG. It was pricey, for the price I prefer to stay ay UTC Sarasota (nothing near). UTC has a mall and lots of restaurants and a Target near

Trying to get our room clean everyday was a struggle. For the amount of money they charge we shouldn’t have to ask at 3pm. Staff on FaceTime but the last day woke me up knocking on the door to see when I was leaving to clean. Awful!

The rooms have poor soundproofing; you can hear every footstep from the floor above. Also, breakfast is very basic and lacks variety, offering the exact same limited selection every single day.

Front desk was very helpful! Our first rooms A/C was not working so they were able to get us into another room. The breakfast is NOT worth the money! Don’t spend your money! Also they charge gratuity even though they don’t serve you. There’s only one lady in the bar area that’s rude and ruins it for the rest. Everyone else is great!! Unfortunately I never got her name. I would stay again because of the convenience of the location, drinks are good and overall staff is very nice and helpful.
