Holiday Inn Express Bridgwater M5, Jct. 24 by IHG

Hi I was not happy with my stay at all it was not a good start as my room was not ready at 2.30 I had to wait then my air conditioning did not work and it was a very hot day I was uncomfortable and sweating whe getting ready to go out I had traveled for 3 hours and did not appreciate it.the lady on the reception was very rude and not hpgull at all.i asked twice about the air conditioning and was relieved with attitude. I was moved to a different room the next morning by much more helpful staff.the cleaner was also very rude! My new room was better but toilet seat was broken and I caught skin on my bottom. The accessable shower. Limited contents in hospitality tray, Limited hanging space for clothes. TV too complicated to use. Had to use our own bottled water for overnight, no glasses at all provided. Basic cafe style - OK for breakfast but no atmosphere for evening meal...ate out.

Helpful staff, big bed and sofa bed. Very clean and new bathroom. Nice toiletries. Big choice of breakfast items. Large car park. Good location. The bed was really uncomfortable, the TV didn't work, but they offered to fix it within the hour, which was fine. Sofabed was very çreaky. Thick winter duvet in height of summer.

The room was clean and very comfortable The dining area for breakfast could be laid out better and with more tables put in as very busy for breakfast and lots of people looking for some where to sit to eat.

Exceptional

Basic choice Coffee machine constantly cleaning so slow to get a full cup, cold Toaster useless needed to go through twice - no colour or burnt on 1 side Tiny plates

Breakfast was lovely!! We ate dinner in the restaurant it was delicious .. The late opening time of the restaurant in the evening was so useful as we were delayed with traffic.. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete ... SO HARD !!!!

Handy location, rooms were fine for an overnight stop. Breakfast was poor quality and staff were not on top of replenishing.

Bed was comfy room was ok Breakfast was awful. We went down at 9am coffee machines weren’t working. And hardly any food left. I just managed to get a glass of orange juice at the dispensary. No yogurt or fruit and the croissant were hard. Didn’t have breakfast the second morning.

Comfortable rooms and quiet

Location was good for me. Breakfast was okay. Staff nice and friendly. Bed was hard. Charged for parking.
