Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Room was lovely with wood paneling and a very comfy bed. The port and rocky road were a lovely touch. The shower products were excellent. The staff genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast choice was very good. Not applicable

No lift. Just the last day we were informed what was included in the breakfast for free. The pub at the entrance was not good quality.

Loved everything
-
Lovely decor, clean room, comfortable bed - staff dropped our bag in our room as we were late for a wedding - great service The wait for breakfast was a little long as they were short staffed but it was tasty when it arrived

Very clean, lovely size room 12, quiet, staff helpful Wasn’t aware it was in a pub Although once I got use to it i realised it was quiet Parking away from hotel and walking through areas of vulnerable people was concerning

The accommodation was roughly a 15-20 minute walk from the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the Bristol O2 Academy - the purpose of our visit. The accommodation can be accessed at any time, even once the pub has closed, via a separate entrance using your room key card. Hort’s Townhouse was perfect for what we needed and we will definitely look at staying again should another band of interest play the same venue.

Wow what a find! We were greeted with friendly, helpful staff who checked us in smoothly and the bags we had dropped off earlier were already in our room. The rooms were the nicest I had ever stayed in absolutely beautiful. The personal welcome card with chocolates and port was a lovely touch. The toiletries smelt lovely and to have fresh milk in the fridge was great to have with a cuppa. The room was really quiet at night too! Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection I couldn't fault it. I loved that it was made fresh to order too all fresh ingredients. All in all a stunning hotel in a great location and I can't wait to return. N/A

Clean and in a great location Nothing

Very friendly helpful staff. Helped us out when we had a concern about our room. Tasty breakfast. Was able to do my online meeting from the bar area without any difficulties.

Well designed, thoughtful touches everywhere. The bathroom was especially nice, great shower pressure and great towels! We had some trouble with the thermostat but it wasn’t a big deal.

Interior room #9 was cozy with a very comfortable bed and amazing large bathroom - the standalone tub was lovely (could use a headrest though). The complimentary tipple and cookies were a nice touch. Location was perfectly central for visiting friends and relatives, and Xmas shopping. While I would've preferred windows, my partner appreciated the skylight with cover for extra dark and quiet sleeping. Loved that it's dog friendly so we got to meet some sweet pups. Staff was very nice. We'd definitely stay again. We had breakfast at the hotel the first day (not continental), it was "ok" - There's a great coffeeshop a few doors down with a small selection of delicious cakes. I thought I booked a superior double with a seating area and sofa bed - the listing images showed rooms with small lounges and/or accent chairs, which is why I chose it for our anniversary knowing I'd be indoors most of the trip. Our room just had a desk, no seating area. Service was spotty albeit nice, maybe because it was slow - though Bristol overall was eerily quiet that weekend. The building alarm went off a few times, blaring and loud. Thankfully we didn't hear it at night. Next time we'll go with either the suite or a standard room. While we'd stay again, next time we'll go with either the suite or a standard room.

What a gem of a hotel. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable bed with lovely bedding, lovely bath with great products, complimentary port - super clean and classily decorated. We were really comfortable! We enjoyed drinks in the bar the evening we were there too. Everything was fabulous! Breakfast was a bit slow but the food was excellent, so it was worth the wait.

Beautiful rooms, so clean, lovely welcome beverage and treat, staff were awesome. Amazing food in the restaurant. Loved everything about this place!! Definitely coming back. Nothing!

Perfectly Quaint

A minor issue was that the breakfast items weren't always available during the breakfast window. If I arrived later, some things were gone and not replenished.
-
Gorgeous room in a beautiful property, incredibly spacious. The location was amazing for trekking around Bristol. Having world-class food at our home base was very convenient. Pub noise was not audible. Thoughtful touches like gluten free treats and port left in our room.

Although our stay was shorter than planned because of the delay, we would definitely stay here again. The location is excellent — very walkable and just a short stroll to St. Nick’s Market.

Bedroom decorated beautifully making it very comfortable to retreat to. Equally, the whole venue was decorated beautifully with really comfortable and welcoming furniture.
