Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bronx - Barnabas area by IHG

This was as usual a good hotel but unfortunately in a very terrible location. Too many drug addicts walking around. Not an area you can walk around and get to a supermarket etc. I guess it's convenient if you need to be in that area but . Its in and out .

Cons-nowhere to place your luggage? you have to put it on the floor Lightning in the room was horrible -no desk lamp?? Need hooks to hang up towels, jackets, etc.

I was expecting parking to be available to guests. It was not. Given the photos in the listing, it felt a little deceptive. We had to drive around to find street parking. And had to walk about a 1/2 mile to get checked in with suitcases.

This is a great hotel in a bad neighborhood far away from everything, but super clean and well feed for freeeeeeeee

Friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly large number of breakfast choices for the compact breakfast area, large mini fridge and microwave in room. Only one chair in room (would have liked one more for 2nd guest), bedside light not working, noise from ambulances at night as location is across from hospital (obviously hotel cannot control this one.)

Overall, the hotel and room were nice. Clean and decent size King Suite. I called in advance and was informed that there would be some cooking utensils (pan, pot, spatula, dishes etc.) and there was absolutely nothing in the cabinets. We noticed right away that the fridge and freezer even after putting it to the coldest setting was not working, I informed the front desk but the best that they could do is send up maintenance however the times that they could come to the room conflicted with our schedule. We were able to use the freezer as a refrigerator to keep most of the stuff cold but by the third day it was getting packed and we needed it fixed. We asked for a room switch and were originally told nothing was available however later that same day they were able to find us another king suite to move us into with a working fridge all else was good.

Enjoyed my stay at the holiday inn . The only downside was that the front of the building was usually busy. Breakfast was decent, and the building was nice and clean.

Not to make the bed or clean the room, change the bedsheets and towels by giving me an excuse saying we're short staffed is unacceptable.

For the most part, it was a good stay. We only stayed two nights, and the bed was comfortable, as was the bathroom. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that some random guy knocked at the door at 3am, and I don't know anyone from the Bronx except a cousin that I hardly see or speak to. He claimed to have texted me which I know was a lie. I demanded that he get away from my door,, and by the grace of God, he did. He could've been drunk or just mistaken. Whatever it was, I think at a certain time of the night there should be more security to keep residents safe.

The continental breakfast, the queen suite was spacious There was no parking for hotel, the other two queen rooms were exceptionally small

I just wanted to say how personal and professional Kyle was during our stay. He was able to problem solve our situation very calmly. Exceptional employees. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel was in a bit of a rough area. When we left the facility, my son almost stepped on a homeless man sleeping against the gate of the facility. Also, parking situation is not convenient.

The property was clean and well kept. Location perfect and safe. Literally next to a hospital. The front desk was friendly and always available. The location was perfect. We were so close the Arthur Ave Little Italy!! We went to Yankees game 20 minute Uber. Next door was a Healthy Fresh store open to 3 am!! Very safe area. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Clean n well organized Nothing to complain about

Breakfast was ok If you book online they should be specific about fee that you need pay when you get there . The fee is $125 .When someone communicate to you guys that they will be check late and also pay for two nights prior to come u guys should commade them. I feel run business like hotel its should fair in enough to able to please a customer but I see that it lot to be work on

The hotel is just fine but the area is not great
