Our host, Michael, was extremely welcoming and helpful. He took the time to suggest restaurants and provided tips about sites to see. He continued to check-in with us when our paths crossed to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We loved the historic building, especially the breakfast/dining room. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Our room was upgraded and was a very large, grand room. The bed was the most comfortable of our trip. Nothing

The owner of the property was on sight and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. He was most polite and the property was perfect. Breakfast included was excellent.

Everything was okayed. John , he is very kind and detailed person. Hotel is very clean and beautiful. A breakfast is beyond a normal international one, served by John himself. We would like to thank him very much and appreciate it.

I don't normally write reviews but this place deserved one. We were luckily upgraded. The bnb isn't large with only 4-5 rooms. The room was quiet, large and clean and very tidy. It had a great antique furniture but with a modern feel. The bathroom had an amazing glass stained window with a lovely bath and shower. The staff were very attentive and had a lovely breakfast in amazingly decorated small dining room personalised to you on the day. We would happily recommend this place to any future stayers.

We loved absolutely everything about the property. The decor and house itself is really lovely, and the furnishings and bed were extremely comfortable. The location was very convenient. We also really appreciated the gluten free breakfast options as my husband is celiac and that can be a challenge sometimes but the owner knew all about gluten issues and made a wonderful and safe breakfast.

Michael was an incredible host. He gave us great advice on restaurants, sites to see and even where to find the best ATM for international visitors. Breakfast was phenomenal. The B&B was beautifully maintained with lots of antiques.

The hosts went out of their way to provide useful information about Bruges. The breakfast was outstanding...fresh fruit with wonderful yogurt, eggs in various ways, fresh breads, cheeses and hams. Electronic key pads on front door and bedroom door are extremely handy, no keys to keep track of. Nothing. Everything was done with great care and thought.

Beautiful suit with antique decor , with modern bath, including tub. The staff was second to none! Michael, the manager was extremely gracious and helpful, including with our heavy luggage. He went above and beyond in his assistance in all our needs. Location was ideal, but easy access to city center. No elevator

John and his brother are hoteliers of the highest caliber. You can tell how much attention to detail went into the space, with period-appropriate pieces throughout the property. We had a truly lovely stay and experience here. Their recommendations were invaluable, and when we continued on to Amsterdam, John provided some wonderfully unique suggestions. Breakfast was a real treat — the pastries were excellent, and the dishes were both delicious and satisfying. A charming stay overall; we would return in a heartbeat and hope they open more properties with the same warmth and character.

The owners and family were exceptionally friendly and helpful and tried to do everything they could to make my stay perfect. From the checking-in process, when they shared their recommendations and went through the city map with me until I was checking out when I was also able to leave my luggage there while I went to explore some more. The breakfast was outstanding, and I was so sad that I was always too full to be able to try everything offered. Also loved the location. It was about 10 minutes walk (with short legs) to the main square and most of the other main sights, and 3 minutes to a main shopping area. I only had time to try 2 of the bars that were within 5 minutes walk from the B&B that were also amazing - one with an amazing atmosphere and the other a beautiful cocktail bar. I felt safe walking around that area relatively late by myself (whilst avoiding tiny, quiet side streets). The history of the house, with its antiques and gorgeous breakfast room, made it a privilege to stay there while being comfortable with the modern bathrooms and AC. The bed was a little hard, and the pillows were a little flat. However, I didn't mention that to the owner/family, so they didn't have the opportunity to correct that. There were enough pillows so that I could double/triple up, so that wasn't a huge problem. It was a shame that there is no elevator as I would have loved to stay in the top bedroom suite (although my room was beautiful too) as the top set of stairs is a little tight. However, that is the trade off with an historic home.
