Once built as a private mansion in 1869 and later in the hands of bankers, this magnificent 19th-century classical building has been renovated and converted into the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage. The hotel is just 165 ft from the market square and has free Wi-Fi. The Heritage Hotel offers its guests elegant, stylish rooms, all characterized by individual decoration, and nice soft furnishings with well furnished bathrooms. An iPad is available in each room. The house has a 14th-century old cellar with special arches, of which stones are now displayed at the museum of the archaeological society. Guests can enjoy regional dishes in the hotel's restaurant. Cozy restaurants, interesting museums, elegant shops and romantic carriages that take you through the city are only at walking distance. The 4th floor was really hot with weak air conditioning. The cafe machine never worked even after it was checked. Mini fridge was shut off and all bottles in it were hot. This was an upgrade, but not sure about that except for larger space. I must say the evening person on duty, Nathan, “saved the day”as he fixed the refrigerator and replaced all items with cold ones and he came up to attend to the A/C. Nathan was so professional, attentive and kind and really tried to accommodate me. He made that hotel for me.

The most friendly, professional and helpful staff. Please ask for Nathan, Sarah and Valantine. Sarah is the General Manager and is doing a great job. Everything was perfect

Great location. Lovely breakfast and staff. Nice sun deck. The bath was difficult to access for showers. The overhead shower dripped on your head while using the hand held shower

The hotel itself is fairly dated but it is very well maintained. It has a lot of character! The aircon is very strong for such an old building which is nice during the hot summer! But the best part of the hotel is the staff, Nathan and Melinda at the front desk, and the super courteous and professional gentleman which is in charge of breakfast, the young lady who is in charge of the turndown services, everyone is so pleasant and professional! Nothing!
