Hotel Ysuri Bucerias

The property was beyond beautiful, very clean, minutes away by car from town,this was a plus for us Our room was sooooo beautiful, on main floor, so steps away from pool, bar, restaurant and the sea view was beautiful, the shower was huge and beautiful, with a sofa and a Minnie fridge, everything was perfect, we will definitely go back

Nothing Zero communication, canceled without telling me, won’t answer calls or emails

The view is spectacular. Easy access to the beach. The food at Baklava is delicious. I was unable to fill the spa/jacuzzi tub. Water stopped coming out.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Great, peaceful location with everything you need onsite and only a short distance from town. The room was gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Our room did not have a comfortable chair for relaxing and/or sitting, only two very stiff straight backed chairs more suitable for a dining table.

Super comfy bed we had breakfast, which was spectacular sitting at the ocean, and the food was really good as well. Everything was very clean and well maintained. It was a little ways out, but if you wanted to go for a nice long walk along the beach

It was small and intimate only 13 rooms The swimming pool was so clean and water was cold not sickeningly warm . The staff were all wonderful, so mannerly and attentive It would be nice if they provided paddle boards and or kayaks and beach, chairs, and umbrellas

Prices in the restaurant were high. The hotel in Bucerias is next to the highway and it is always noisy at night. The beach is small and with lot of stones, not suitable for swimming.

Beautiful hotel!

The on-site Baklava Restaurant was a highlight of our stay. Every meal, drink, snack we enjoyed was absolutely delicious and a good value. The hotel grounds are lovely; we enjoyed all the plantings, flowers and decor. The staff was excellent; very friendly and accommodating, and took care of anything we needed like calling a taxi, storing luggage, etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi was a little spotty, not too bad. A bit noisy because of being so close to the highway. We enjoyed walking on the beach and visiting with the oyster divers. We’d stay again!

Food is very good, family liked the pasta. Nice room size, Place its not very clean, lots dust everywhere , beach is full of oyster shells, there is a nice roof where umbrellas and chairs can be placed so we can enjoy the view ,roof was empty. lock of doors are hard to open.

The staff was excellent and so was the food! Great location and if you don't mind a 15-20 min walk on the beach into Bucerias, it's perfect! The beach directly in front of the hotel is not very nice.

Fabulous staff, very clean, great view from pool/adjoining dining tables Rooms great, comfortable. Small inn feel 2km from very busy Bucerias Food good, well presented but $$ . 2 bulldozers ran morning to night making a breakwater for the property; impossible to sit by pool or have a meal without smell of diesel & sound . Music in bar way too loud early & all day long

The restaurant food was good, but the menu offered limited choices. Considering the hotel's location (see below) , a definite issue. First and foremost, We were never warned about the daily operations of very loud earth moving and bulldozing equipment on the beach directly in front of the hotel, from 8 am to 7 pm daily. The dust and the noise made it unbearable to sit poolside, swim or walk the beach, or have breakfast or lunch at the restaurant, or even on our room's balcony. Secondly, the room's amenities. The room's balcony jacuzzi, despite maintenance coming up twice to "fix" the issue, never worked. Again, unacceptable. Then there's the coffee maker. The disposable coffee inserts contained maybe one teaspoon of coffee, enough to flavor the water at best. Although what "flavor" they were going for is hard to say. Certainly not like any coffee I've ever tasted. To make matters worse, no milk or sugar were provided. Adding insult to injury, the cappuccino/espresso machine at the restaurant was out of order. Last but not least, the hotel's location. The property is located maybe 25 feet back from a major 4 lane highway. The constant day and night traffic noise from loud trucks, motorcycles, etc. was hard to ignore. The closest concession of any kind (for extra bottled water, coffee, sugar and cream, and etc.) was a gas station store, several blocks away, and across the aforementioned busy 4 lane highway to reach. There were absolutely no other facilities- shops, restaurants, etc.- which according to the web site were "within walking distance". In reality, the closest to any kind of services ( restaurants especially) was Bucerias town proper. To reach it, however, involved a minimum 40 minute walk along a very rocky shore. Needless to say, taxis were necessary to get anywhere which got rather expensive..
