Filthy. Hair all over and in shower when we walked into the room. Told the manager and he brought a maid in to clean. When they were done the shower looked the same. It was a dirty greasy ghetto hotel

We had a very pleasant stay at Best Western on the Avenue. The continental breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options, and everything was clean and well organized. Our room was a comfortable size — just right for our needs. There was a fridge, although it did not have a mini freezer, and there was no microwave in the room. The staff were polite, welcoming, and very helpful. One thing that really impressed us was the cleanliness of the hotel. For a pet-friendly hotel, you would never know it when entering the room — it smelled fresh and clean and was clearly very well maintained. Overall, a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. We had a very good experience and would happily stay here again.

A++ on the beds! Most comfortable of the 4 different hotels we stayed in for this trip. Very clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast foods were fresh, plentiful, and tasty. However, my latest complaint isn't exactly with the hotel. It's with the other guests I'm suggesting ALL HOTELS to please reinforce the courtesy concept of being QUIET in the hall ways. People go through all times of the day and night and behave like it's their personal living space. Most of them aren't being rude intentionally, but none of the rooms are soundproof (unfortunately). There weren't rowdy kids or adults, Just people carrying on conversations at 12 midnight or 6am totally oblivious to anyone else's comfort. Hotel managers may consider putting up signs, writing it on the key card holders, and also in the info binders, etc: "PLEASE USE QUIET VOICES IN ALL HALLWAYS. OTHER GUESTS MAY BE SLEEPING. SHHHHH.) It can't hurt and All your guests would appreciate that. Soundproofing the entire room.
