Refurbished historic hotel, huge room

What a super place to stay, Parking at the back of the property. The largest property we stayed in, great facilities. Huge bedroom, lounge area (best TV option as able to use my Netflix), fully stocked kitchen with a lovely surprise of banana bread waiting for us in the freezer (very thoughtful and delicious) and the largest bathroom I've ever seen with washer and dryer should you need it. We met the owner who showed us around another of his apartments which was even larger. He was very helpful and friendly.

Make sure you contact property for pin pad info. Cute little place with comfortable beds.

Uniquely historically and fun, easy check in. Clean and orderly

Will not be everyone’s cup of tea. Historic property with some structural issues. Very and I mean very steep staircase leading up to the floor with the rooms. I would not recommend for anyone with physical limitations. The owner of the property was wonderful. She was helpful and friendly. Large accommodations with easy digital access and centrally located in the sleepy little town of Buffalo. Dining options are limited on Tuesday evenings. Sloping floors, steep staircase and old smell which can be expected given the age of the property.

It was like stepping back in time. Cynthia and Dave have decorated and set up these rooms, dating back to 1894, just amazingly. Comfortable, spacious and delightful surroundings right in the heart of downtown Buffalo. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Talking with Cynthia on the phone, she was very friendly, helpful and accommodating! Then later Dave stopped by and dropped off some homemade rhubarb bread, what a treat! He was also very friendly and offered lots of information about the building and the improvements he and Cindy have done to it. Again, our stay was totally amazing.

The authenticity of the building brings the Wild West experience to life! (with our appreciation for the modern conveniences). It’s the perfect location for walking this historical town and enjoying other businesses. Plenty of room (and beds) for a family to stay comfortably. There are no negative comments to be made!

Instructions were precise and clear and codes work very well. Nothing.

As others have noted, this "hotel" is perfect for those looking for a place with character and a space to relax (not just a bed). When vacationing, we tend to eat out during the day, but prefer to eat a light meal at night. The full kitchen had everything we needed (including an electric kettle to easily make tea). We were also able to do a load of laundry. Way better than staying at those chain hotels. All communication is done remotely, which was easy to follow. The owner even provided abundant information for Buffalo.

The look. The amenities. The owner.

We loved the historic building and the space within the suite!
-
It was nothing to write home about - close to everything but no character and we thought the rooms would be bigger from the description.
-
It was clean and very homey. I wish we could have stayed longer the location was perfect Cynthia was so helpful and available. If you text her she will help take your bags up the stairs this property is 100 years old. The stairs were hard although Cynthia was so helpful in helping us with our bags. We are in our 70’s and 80’s which made it a little more difficult

Absolutely lovely place. It is a walk-up, as clearly mentioned in the description. Everything was exactly as advertised. Very clean and spacious. Host was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place.
