Location was great, staff very friendly and accommodating, beautiful place, I recommend!

A cute accomodation, with a lot of local flavours in the interior. My room had the cutest painting on the wall. Location wise its excellent to explore Lyabi Hauz, and the surrounding shops and other attractions. Breakfast was good, they had alot of local items. The cafe itself was beautifully decorated too. Staff at front desk were polite and accomodative. They gav excellent recommendations on how to plan sightseeing, best food spots. I had a few hours to kill before my train, and i was able to wait there. Overall its an excellent choice. Not that i dont like it, but the place has some steps and stairs. Might not be suitable for everyone

Location is perfect. They cleaned everyday. Staff was helpful. I like the huge bathroom. The pillow. I wish it were softer.

Room could have been a bit more updated, but otherwise everything was good

Great location and wonderful breakfast. The hotel is well-designed and felt very authentic.

Nice place, very well located to visit Bukhara' old town. Nice people, always ready to help. Beautiful living room, where we could stay after the checking out, to wait for our departure time. The rooms are located in old cells of this former caravanserail, it has its charm, but there is not much light (no window, only the entrance door).

All aspects of this hotel were superb! The staff was always on hand to accommodate any little detail. The location was ideal. It felt like being a part of the family and the city.

Slightly old smell in the courtyard.

Only complain is the shower water is lukewarm and not hot enough, I was shivering when I got out, not a fun experience in early November when temperature is close to 0 celsius at night.

The hotel had an intriguing atmosphere — its old traditional-style architecture gave it a distinctive charm. I felt the hotel was a bit outside the old city, whereas I had imagined it being right in the heart of it when I booked. There wasn’t really a place to hang out or meet other travelers to exchange information about the city or the country. Once you walked into the complex, you more or less went straight to your room. They could have easily used the breakfast area as a communal space where guests could grab a drink and unwind. Overall, the hotel was functional, but it lacked a sense of community or atmosphere.

This hotel offers a fantastic location, just a short walk from popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a variety of delicious options to start the day. The building, set around a charming courtyard, blends historical charm with modern amenities, creating a unique atmosphere. The rooms are colorful and beautifully decorated, adding a cheerful touch to the stay. A thoughtful bonus is the microwave in the room, perfect for heating milk for a baby. The room lighting was quite dim, making it difficult to relax or see comfortably. It would be helpful if the hotel implemented rules to switch off the courtyard lights after 10 p.m. or encouraged guests to keep quiet, as late-night conversations in the sitting area were very noisy. The noise from the courtyard often disturbed our sleep, which was disappointing. Additionally, the narrow street made it difficult for taxis to reach the hotel entrance. We had to carry our luggage quite a distance, which was inconvenient after a long day of travel.

The breakfast was plentiful and VERY comfortable seating area inside and out. My room was small, but perfectly reminiscent of living in a medrassa (but with a beautiful bathroom attached). Young Sherzod at the front desk was most helpful and informative. I needed a printed copy of a visa application, and he was happy to provide that. It would have been nice to have a light that could be turn on/off from the bed. And maybe a bit of padding on the very low door frame... I saw the warning sign after I already hit my head! ?

Hotel design The room was next to common area. It was noisy sometimes.

This family-run hotel is a delight to stay in, a historic building located in the historic center of Bukhara. The desk staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful during my stay, and the furnishings of the rooms and common area make you feel you are in a traditional part of Uzbekistan. An outstanding place to stay, with excellent value.

Staff was not helpful for foreign travellers. Cash payment was expected and they were exceptionally unhelpful with taxi assistance leaving us in a dangerous situation.
