Good

We have stayed at the hotel twice before and enjoyed the experience, but unfortunately it was third time unlucky. The current hotel management are extremely poor and terrible communicators. If you need to contact the hotel, don’t expect a helpful conversation on the telephone or any response whatsoever by email or via Expedia. A real shame. Will look elsewhere in the future. They have also now started the charge $25 per night for parking which they didn’t previously do which is ridiculous.

The room is passably clean. The air conditioner is very noisy when it is running. It is annoying that we could hear the occupant of the room above ours walking around during the night.

Great location near studios in Burbank. Only complaint is thin towels and sheets but room was clean.

The location was one of our favorite things about Safari Inn. It was convenient for the places we wanted to visit, and there were useful amenities nearby. Check-in was easy, the room was comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Great overall experience.

Front desk was unavailable several times. Had to wait. Bed not great. Parking expensive. Otherwise ok.

The suite was a great fit for our family because the full kitchen gave us extra flexibility. We liked having a separate sitting area as well. The hotel has plenty of retro charm and is a convenient base for exploring Burbank.

I had a pretty bad experience with these hotel I walk to the receptionist and they said my room wasn’t ready half an hour later finally they said the room was ready. I walked into the room. There were blood everywhere I walk back to the receptionist and asked to move to a different room they make a big deal a lot of that they told me they had no more rooms all they offer was to clean the room where I was not comfortable with anymore

The room was small but clean. Fridge was an added bonus. You are charged $25 for parking per night and the parking lot is tight and small but you can also park at the sister hotel next-door if worse comes to worse. Staff was really friendly. Though it was a fast turnaround trip I felt safe and comfortable for the night.

Great option if going to Universal Studios. Clean room, friendly staff.

Not clean

Okay place to stay but their business practice is a little shady. They charge 25.00 for parking and this charge is not mentioned until you check in, therefore leaving you with a choice to pay this hidden charge or find parking on the neighborhood streets. They also place a 200.00 hold on your credit card that will take days to remove. This charge is a little excessive and again not told to you until you check in. Overall it's a nice place, very clean for an overnight stay. I'd consider it again now that I know what to expect.

Classic, historic and nostalgic. Well maintained and refreshed rooms. Nice warm pool to relax. Useful shuttle but book as soon as you make a reservation. Convenient options for food and essentials closeby. Kind staff. Beautiful church across the street. Cheap parking but smallish spots. Safe and friendly and well located to Unvieral and Warner Bros. FUN!

I contacted the front desk because the air conditioner was not working. The gentleman that answered told me that he was aware that maintenance had checked it out early that morning and it should be working. He said he would call me back. He was gonna follow up with the maintenance guy, but I never heard back and we had to sleep in a very hot room. Very inconvenient and very uncomfortable with summer weather.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation and were pleasantly surprised. The room had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable, and having a dining area was very convenient. The pool was clean and never felt overcrowded. We'd definitely stay again.

The staff is very cooperative and also this inn provides you free shuttle that’s very helpful.
