We stayed in Niue Cottage 1. Not much to like about it but it was clean and bed ok and cleaning lady who we met on day one was very friendly and showed us around. The Laundry facilities were good and picnic gear a nice touch. Grounds are well kept. Fortunately we had a week on a tour prior to staying there. If this had been our only experience of Norfolk Island we would have been very upset. The room was very dark , glimpses of ocean only. Balcony furniture old and uncomfortable. Ancient flat mattress on the one sunbed but it was too dark and windy to sit out anyway. Only 1 sunbed at pool and no mattress and no other lounge furniture. .. Also sofa and armchair had seen better days. Very limited supply of cooking and kitchen utensils. They want you to save water which is fair enough but only supply 3 mugs, and 4 plates, knives etc. So we were constantly washing up. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable and bed covers very old. TV was not able to show videos. We called the owner to ask about it as there's not a lot to do at night. Her response was yes well some of the TV's are broken. No apology and we never heard from her other than that one brief conversation. Bit sad given no internet available so not able to use our own equipment. In fairness a lot of accommodation on NI is of similar vintage . Kitchen equipment and TV circa 1990. Fine if one is into nostalgia.

the owner/manager happened to be in the carpark when we arrived and just pointed us to our cabin and that was it. very simple and quick.

location and environment, staff friendly and very helpful, communal pantry internet access was not provided to the room, information packet said a phone on local network would be provided and it wasn't.

Lovely view Gas heater was small for the size of the place and minimal sun Also advertised as 2 bed 2 bath but only toilet and hand basin upstairs, disappointing

I shared a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend and both bedrooms were ensuite. There was a good size living room and nice back verandah with a view of the ocean. There was a 'hub ' room on site where you could access wi-fi. The room contained books, videos, board games and equipment for outdoor activities. They aso collected left over food/household items that previous tenants did not want to take home and you could take what you needed on the understanding that you did the same when you left. The host was very responsive to any needs/requests. No complaints but wished we had a griller/toaster oven in the kitchen (we had a cook top and microwave). The TV reception was a bit flaky but that seems to be a common problem on the island

We enjoyed our stay at Coast. It had everything we needed . Very private the staff were lovely and welcoming. Ample parking and linen provided. The only minor issue not enough pegs for guests. Luckily I took and used my own. The views surrounding the property and the 2 horses in the field next door were a bonus. I highly recommend this property.

Loved the location and the outlook. The cottage was private and had all the amenities we could want. This included snorkelling gear, binoculars, fishing equipment, bikes,and golf clubs. Nothing comes to mind except, maybe the lack of wifi in the cottage.

Very spacious Garden cottage. Bigger than expected. Set in a quiet location away from town, yet within 5 minutes drive of Burnt Pine. Coast has great with valley and ocean views with horses and cows giving it the feel of a quiet rural area. Raewyn, our hostess, was extremely helpful and answered our questions when we needed help with anything It was a perfect holiday

Everything. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. Beach and pool towels provided, laundry facilities, BBQ, lovely view and nice garden area to relax in. Great location. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nothing.
