Was close to manifold valley for walks Room smelt of dog and bathroom was dirty. Hair visibly on the plughole and dog hair on bathroom floor. Does generally felt dirty. I was a solo female so felt vulnerable complaining.... Breakfast was also very very small really not worth the money I paid

Perfect location for exploring the Tissington, Manifold and Monsal trails. Lovely breakfast and traditional pub fayre. Would definitely visit again.

Booked a last minute one night stay. Room was great, plenty of space with great bathroom. Friendly and welcoming staff. Evening meal was lovely.

Room was really nicely decorated with very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Staff were really efficient, kind and friendly, we felt very welcome and looked after. Dinner and breakfast in the pub were delicious, good home made real food. The weather could have been better, but nothing the staff could have done about that! A few cobwebs and a dripping tap but nothing serious.
