Simple with helpful staff and insane view

It was easy to find, right on the main road, and there was parking for our motorbikes. There is an elevator which was great for getting all our gear to the third floor! It’s pristine clean and the towels and linens are crisp and white. The breakfast food had quite a bit of variety. The view from our window to the lake was amazing! The traffic noise is right there, but not too bad if you keep the windows closed. The AC unit struggled with the heat on our first night, but much better the second.

Spectacular, fabulous view of the lake from the window, with Bellagio right in the middle across the lake. The hotel is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable, and had everything needed. Breakfast was good. Location is great! It was easy to get to Menaggio and other attractions of the lake. Internet works fine if there is no heavy rain. It was hot when I arrived, and fresh air did not come into the room even through wide open window. Ceiling fan didn’t work. A/C was not listed in the description but I thought it was not needed at nights in the mountains. I wanted to ask for a floor fan but it was late, and reception was closed already. The weather cooled off on the next day, and I didn’t need it since then. The hotel is right next to the main road around the lake. Traffic somewhat dies down at night but not entirely. I requested a room away from the traffic noise but this option on the highest floor was the best available.

Location and helpful and friendly people

Old world hotel on lake Como. Staff very friendly. Not long enough.

Horrible place. Dingy. Dirty. Duvet doesn’t have a cover. Someone’s contact lenses were in the shower; so clearly the shower wasn’t cleaned before we were given the room. Bed bugs! And the manager Silvia is aggressive and displayed unstable conduct!

wonderful view on the beautiful lake of como the price a little more than expected

I liked that the hotel is so centrally located on Lake Como near Menaggio and near the Car Ferry terminal. The view from the lake-view room was fantastic on a Sunday morning. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with shampoo and large towels provided. The cold fridge was very much appreciated. If it were me, I'd switch coffee bean supplier for the breakfast coffee machine. Some of the decor in the hotel is a little dated, but it's quaint and fits the price point, so it's not an issue.

Lake view, walk to ferry, friendly staff Bed too soft, most the facilities are very old, need a upgrade , noise from the road
-
Great location and the view Dated room, basic breakfast, no fruits, prepackaged food.

1. Window was not soundproof, so expect lots of vehicle noises throughout the night which can be quite loud. 2. AC provided in the room but is extremely loud. We had to turn it off at night as it's impossible to sleep with it. Luckily there's a ceiling fan to help. 3. Refrigerator in room was not working.

The view of Lake Como was amazing. It was located right in the heart of the little town we were in, and right on the water, so getting to the water was easy. Everyone was very friendly with my dog, which I always find charming. They didn't have a comforter or duvet on the bed, it was a "show blanket" which was rigid, and did not serve to keep warm. Found blankets in the closet afterward. The breakfast was not impressive, and was continental at best, which was a shame.

The area was good for walking around. Good restaurants within walking distance. We had a corner room so the view was spectacular
-
The position was good and had a great view from the very little balcony. Very old and needed an upgrade. The lady on the front desk was lovely. Breakfast was a bit uncomfortable as the man on the desk the next morning was yelling very loudly at the staff which made it awkward for the guests.
-
Place was a bit outdated (newer bed cover would make a huge difference) and the breakfast was mostly packaged. I missed having fresh produce like bread, eggs and cheese, there was only ham and I'm vegetarian.

The location is great for getting on/off the ferry to varenna and Bellagio. The surrounding area is all under construction and the street is loud nearby
-
Fantastic staff. Air conditioned rooms. Great view from our window. Quiet. Somewhat dated rooms.
-
A few steps from the ferry stop, a very welcoming host. We got a very good room, spacious, clean but simple, an excelent ratio price/quality.
-
Easy accessible to the center of Bellagio Breakfast especially cold cuts for the whole pack

Very good location, with view to the lake
