located jusr 200 metres from the main bars and resturants. Room basic, but very clean. Breakfast was included , and was plenty , and great value considering the room price. NO lift !!!!! rooms on 2nd / 3rd and 4th floors. Booked months in advance and asked for lower level room , but ended up on the 3rd floor ????? Ask for a room rear facing as a lot of street noise !

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was really good for exploring the town and close to trams. The hotel seems to have been refurbished recently and this was good. The room was spacious and well equipped. It’s unfortunate that the bathroom hadn’t been refurbished like the bedroom. It was disappointing and the shower fixing was broken. We didn’t hear any noise from outwit but heard EVERYTHING from our neighbours. The mattress was not comfortable.

This one is a bit special. I was the first guest in the hotel after they renovated it. So I had a rather singular experience. First of all, I was the sole guest in the hotel that night. Second, some of the facilities were not working yet. Third, they offered me breakfast. + Amazingly good breakfast, one of the best I had in a hotel (and the freshly pressed orange juice is really nice) + Very friendly and competent staff + Excellent location in the city centre - The WiFi did not work properly. - There is no lift. I didn't need one, but for some people, it might be troublesome. - The bathroom can get cold in winter, I guess! - There is very little light in the room.

The 2 ladies we interacted with at Reception were so very pleasant and helpful. The receptionist in the early evening when we arrived gave us suggestions for restaurants and indicated where they could be found on her phone. Both ladies are charming. Breakfast was pleasant and plentiful. The room photographs well. But a bit of a disappointment. The bathroom is very small with a bathtub that isn't easy to get in to. A shame there's no elevator.

The manager welcomed us in a friendly helpful way. The hotel is well located in the centre of Caen and is perfect for a short stay This hotel is hard to fault. An elevator would b nice but was not essential for us.

This hotel does not have air conditioning and does not provide fans for the rooms. Bicycle storage room was an unlocked closet in the ground floor entry. A lock would have been nice since there is no staff on that floor and anyone can walk in from the street. Traces of mildew in the shower

Overpriced breakfast!

Very helpful staff. Excellent location in centre of town. Found us secure bike storage and happy to store our bags the next morning. Very good value for money Rooms quite warm as weather hot. ? Could provide a fan

Room had significant mold smell

The room was clean and quiet and the bathroom adequate. The heater didn't work. More electrical outlets needed. The hotel was too far from the station. Not enough suitable restaurants or "grocery" stores in the area. NO refrigerator in the room and no ice available (seems to be the trend in Europe).
