Not much personality. A bit drab.

The breakfast was good and fresh but extremely limited for choices. The room was small with no closet or place for my luggage to fit, the shower was so small you’d can not bend over to wash your feet without opening the shower door, and on the 5th floor with no elevator - thank God we were strong enough to carry our luggage up from the 4th floor; had we been elderly or disabled the 5th floor would not have worked. The neighborhood was extremely noisy at night.

Breakfast was amazing! So was the staff! Well located, you can really enjoy the city of Caen since everything is at walking distance. Nothing.

The staff was as good as any 5 star hotel without the obsequiousness. Very helpful & followed up on requests we made. Great location. Close to everything, including the 2 bus to The Memorial, chateau, the 2 abbayes, short walk or tram to train stations, shopping, restaurants. The facilities were spotless. Room was basic 3 stars with no pretense. Priced appropriately for the facility so good value. Simple breakfast served by helpful staff.

The hotel is central, very close to the Chateau de Caen amd also close to a shopping area and a Printemps. Staff is fast and very efficient, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The hotel has some parking places just behind its building.

Very walkable to most everything. All forms of public transportation a few steps away. Staff were great. Good breakfast. Bathroom was a little small.

Our room was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind, we speak very little French but everyone spoke enough English for us to get through any communication necessary. The parking was full for our first night so we parked in a public lot. Breakfast was delicious! Having to call to be let in and out of the parking was slightly inconvenient (because we didn’t have an international phone plan) but we worked it out!

Beautiful and perfect location. Fans so wasn’t hot at night on a very hot night. Light in bathroom didn’t turn off by switch. Room would have been perfect otherwise. Maybe a dim light could be on.

The breakfast should have been free. I did not like the carpet in the room. My colleague slept on the small bed and said it was not super comfortable.

V noisy indeed in street on Saturday night. A kettle and tea/coffee in room would be good.
