The food was good, The staff was wonderful. The pool chairs were hard to sit together. the flat ones were very uncomfortable. The safe didn't work in the room.

Perfect stay. Ideal location. Lovely staff.

The breakfast was extremely good. Omelette station was a nice touch. Staff was pleasant. The pool was impeccably maintained and the property was as well. There was construction going on at pool all day for the entire 3 days I was there. . Not very relaxing to hear hammering and saws the entire day at pool. When I complained they said too bad. Even refused to give a discount even though nothing about construction was mentioned on website. Also, the mattresses were horrible. Saggy and old. Need more lighting on paths going to rooms. Super dark and can’t see walkway in some areas.

Nice location on the beach, quiet.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The location perfect. The food and service is great. The gardens are really pretty Sadly The rooms. We tried 3 before getting a decent one and even then it had moldy smell. They are dark and damp. We loved to resort itself but I wouldn’t stay in that room again

The chifrijo at the hotel restaurant was the best we had during our trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommend.

It was beautiful and peaceful We had no complaints

The only positive point is the location, but it applies only of you have a car. It is in front of the beach Playa Negra There is a leak in the bathroom, and KNOW it and even knowing they offer the room #1. The receptionist said: if you see water, just call us and we clean. The bathroom does not have a door and it spreads everywhere, even flooding the main room. Obviously we had to call, they came after 50 minutes and bring towels. It is dangerous, the floor is slippery. The room only had one towel and they provided another one later with a big stain in the middle. In the morning, when we arrived for breakfast, all tables were dirty. We had to ask for one to be clean. I mean, I don’t know where the customer service is in this hotel. It was one night and it was ENOUGH. I don’t recommend this place at all to anyone.

Location

The location is perfect for visiting Cahuita as it´s a beach front resort still within walking distance of the village and national park. For breakfast they make their own breads in their onsite pizza oven as well as offering fresh fruits, rice & beans, eggs and omelets however you like! For wildlife lovers, in the hotel gardens there were colourful frogs, birds, lizards and agouti. The pool was great and open all day and night! Be aware that 23% is added to any bar or restaurant bill to cover taxes and services making it an expensive option outside of happy hour.

Food at the restaurant was pretty mediocre. Breakfast was fine, but for other meals we preferred the other restaurants nearby. Not a big problem though, as there were plenty of options.

Room #2 connects thru the roof with the bathroom of a Nextdoor room, so we could hear everything. The bed was supper uncomfortable and sounded like it needed to be changed asap. Breakfast was awful. Great location but I not worth it.

The rooms are nice, although they could use more lights. The breakfast buffet was good. We used the pool and fitness center, which are both nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant where the food is tasty and reasonably priced.

We loved this place and didn't want to leave! Excellent location, lovely atmosphere, generous breakfast and friendly staff. A great pool too. Right near the beach so great for watching the sunrise and for chilling with a beer in the evening. Our room was spotless and huge. I just loved the unpretentious atmosphere here. Couldn't really sit outside our room as it was not private but we were happy on the beach or by the pool.

Very spacious and clean room. Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel has even an outdoor fitness equipment-perfect. The position of the hotel is very nice, walking distance to the Cahuita National park. We enjoyed our stay at Atlantide Lodge. Nothing.
