Hipotels Hipocampo - Adults Only

Location is the only thing. Is not a 4 star hotel as the rewiews say. First day room 622 flooded the bath, no change of towels from the room nor the pool, bad smell in the corridor and in the hotel in general. It is for adults third age with difficulties of mobility. Breakfast has many things but all low quality. Pillows are old, smell and bad. Room TV went black. Overall a terrible stay. Paid 4 days and abandoned in second day, they would not refund money. No parking, very old infraestructure.

The room was not in good shape. There were stains, the hallway had a strange smell, and the curtains let in a lot of light at night, making it hard to sleep. The walls were very thin, so you could hear almost everything from the neighbors. The bathroom felt old and poorly maintained, with an exposed cable, broken switches, no ventilation, and overall a crusty impression. Lack of ventilation especially raises concerns about mold or fungus over time. The AC situation was frustrating. At reception it was dripping water. In the room, the cleaning staff lifted the key card during the day so it didn’t cool. In the evening the system was too weak to properly lower the temperature. The unit only has on or off, with no auto mode, which means you either sleep hot or keep it blasting all night. Common areas also had problems. Smoking at the main entrance drifted into the lobby and made it smell bad. At the pool, despite a rule against reserving, people were already claiming sunbeds with towels before opening. Finally, the overall atmosphere wasn’t very pleasant. Many guests walked around half dressed inside the hotel, which gave the place a rather uncomfortable vibe.

The staff was very kind and attentive, the breakfast was marvellous, I had dinner there too and it was also very good. The facilities are good, everything is clean, and location is amazing. would definitely recommend For a hotel of this category I would expect complimentary replenishment of bottled water and coffee capsules

Very nice sea view, i was lucky and got a room in the 6th floor. Location is great, directly at the center of Cala Millor and directly at the beach. the Pool was ok but not that great, better go to the beach :) Compared to Palma it was very quiet in Cala Millor, most Bars close very early

The staff.Maria and Sergio working in the dining rooms were friendly and exceptional in their work. Adrian on reception and all the staff were great. Rooms were very clean. Food was very good. There wasn't anything I didn't like. One thing which would be the icing on the cake is a kettle in the room

Beautiful location, near the beach. I liked the cleaning that was every day, friendly staff. I didn’t like that the pool was open only until 18:00 and the waitress didn’t know English .

1. The stuff was exceptional (especially during breakfasts and dinners). 2. The hotel was very clean and the variety of food in the main restaurant was great. 3. The beach near the hotel was nice. 4. The facilities were adapted for disabled people. 1. We could not use the gym and the indoor pool because of a very poor ventilation. The sauna and hammam did not work during our stay. 2. The food at the snack bar could be much better (e.g., without so much convenience food). In our view, it was very different from the main restaurant. 3. Also, we noticed that the bed was not very stable.

Everything was excellent Nothing

Everything was clean, staff friendly, lots of food, clean pool and varied programme ? Our neighbors smoking at their balcony and having loud sex

Exceptional

Proximity to the beach The air conditioner does not work. I stayed 9 nights and repeatedly reported the issue. Staff could not do much and resorted to leaving a fan in the room. I think management and staff should have acted promptly when I first reported. My party had two other rooms all with the same issue. Dinning area should have air con as well. Unfortunately climate change does not make any meal pleasant at 29 degrees as the hotel’s clocks show.

The staff were exceptional, fantastic facilities, excellent food and very clean. Great activities

I love everything about the hotel, perfect beach front, comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Food was ok, but not exceptional. Not sure if I would pick half pension again
