Location of the Hotel.

My early check in request was entertained and my family got a small room to fresh up and take some rest before they had decided to move ahead with their day tour. They followed up regularly on the call to check on me when we are going to come and all. The location is nice since it is near to Howrah however the property looks shady and all the rooms are at 2nd and 3rd floor wth no facility of lifts. My early check in request was entertained however 20% of the token money was taken in advance over the call to make the booking final. We didn't like the rooms as they were very small, suffocating and a foul smell was coming out of bathroom. The vibes of the property was not good as well. My experience was bad and I ended up losing that token amount as penalty since it was the last minute cancellation. We found another property nearby.

The room was big and very clean, good water pressure in the shower, big balcony. Breakfast was very tasty. The location was very good, a few minutes walk to Central station metro or to Indian Coffe house. College street is noisy during the day, but quiet in the night, so we slept very well. The staff was nice as well.

The hotel didn't honour the pricing quoted on the Booking.com and forced me to pay more price, and informed that if I disagreed they would cancel the booking and refuse the room. Never ever have I experienced such type of unprofessional behaviour from any hotel I have booked through Booking.com In fact the hotel forced me to cancel the booking on your portal

Great central location on College St Charming building Great air conditioning/ fan/ windows that you can open Good value for money The bathroom did not drain well, there was a pool of water at the entrance to the bathroom. This was only a minor issue but could be improved easily by providing a mop

Great old Bengali style hotel, in a fantastic location. College Street is really interesting, and central. The hotel is clean, friendly, well looked after and very comfy. They helped us with everything and we had a lovely stay. And not expensive… great value for money. Nothing.

We had the King Suite with Balcony, which was perfect for us to recover in after a long journey across India. Enjoyed the breakfast on our private balcony. Good location, and a short 10 minute walk to the Metro to explore the City.

The breakfast was really nice and tasty! We enjoyed every single one dish! The stuff was really helpful and polite too, they made our stay much better than we thought it will be. Thank you so much once more for your kindness! There aren't any things that were bad (from the hotel part).
