Great location with lovely staff and super clean. We loved the espresso machine and tea ameneties in the foyer!

Great location, tasty complementary beverage.

A great and reasonable hotel near Harvard Square. The room was very small but nicely decorated in contemporary style. The bathroom was relatively large with nice amenities. The Nespresso machine in the lobby was a nice addition along with a nice array of teas. Parking was expensive, but we easily found parking using SpotHero. Staff were nice and accommodating. Worth checking out.

The room was very dark, and the desk was so small that it was difficult to work comfortably. I’ve stayed in many hotels with tiny rooms, including in NYC, but those rooms were at least thoughtfully designed and functional. It was also difficult to get in touch with the front desk, and unfortunately, one of the employees was quite rude and raised his voice at me, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I really wanted to like this hotel, especially after reading some positive reviews, but ultimately it was a major disappointment. As others have mentioned, I also don’t feel the experience was worth the price

The hotel is very confortable, and despite my room was facing the main road I was able to sleep well and did not hear outside noise. I am a light sleeper and it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms were wonderful, the design was modern and well done. The rooms smelled great and were very clean. The service was impecable, all of the desk clerks were welcoming, helpful, courteous and personable-impressive. The location was just a few blocks from harvard., which was convenient if you didn’t want to hassle with trying to find parking and because we booked through Expedia, our parking was free- kudos to Expedia. The only reason I took away a star was that the air conditioning did not cool the room enough-the system may have been broken in that room, they did come in and try to adjust it but it did not help. I also would have loved to have had a mini fridge in the room. The hotel did offer great twenty-hour access to fairly good coffees, espressos, chai, and teas in the main lobby. I would definitely stay there again. Although I would check on the air conditioning issue.

Would definitely return and recommend to others

Everything is what we expected. Nice room, everything very clean, and helpful staff. In addition, the location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance to Harvard Square and a few bus stops to MIT. I will repeat!

Generally a good option, good location, well maintained, some decent communal space. Small rooms, no coffee service in room.

Street-front noise can get loud.

Great hotel in a Victorian building just a couple blocks from Harvard Square. We had a quick overnight but would definitely stay here again.

Our stay could not have been better. Located close to Harvard and the river with their own parking garage is incredible. The hotel is beautifully well appointed and the staff professional. We will happily return for our next visit in the Boston area.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was spotless and had everything we needed

The front desk staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. The hotel was so pretty inside and out and was just steps from great restaurants, Harvard and the T. We will definitely be back.

No balcony, no fridge, but well-located

Some of the Front desk staff are very nice, some barely acknowledge your existence. Some of the housekeeping staff are very friendly and some just barge in the room despite that you have the "quiet please" sign on the door hours before regular check-out time.

The bathroom had pieces of a towel rack that might have broken years ago and was never replaced. The hotel appears to be dated with some need for repainting, resiliconing of the shower area, and replacement of items that look in disrepair (towel racks) or are already very dated (e.g. hair dryer). It is not luxurious, but it doesn't claim to be. My window led to the dark back of the building. Nothing interesting to see there, just an old aisle. I checked in at the same time with 2 other people. Strangely, neither of them were asked to pay for the eventualities charge. I was. It would have been $50 with a credit card. My international card didn't work in their premises, so they charged me $100 in cash, instead. This money is refundable, but it was not announced anywhere in the Expedia site when I booked it. The General Manager explained the situation, and my $100 were returned the day after. My room smelled of burgers, although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Ideal for someone who isn't fuzzed about those details, but I wouldn't have chosen it for a longer stay.
