The location is great. The entire hotel is tired and needs a revamp. The breakfast was awefull. Everything was cold and the cold meats in the cold meat selection were off. The cold beef smelt bad and was visible off.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 adult children stayed at The Bay Hotel during the winter season, and every single one of us absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, The Bay Hotel exceeded every expectation. After a long day of travel, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They graciously accommodated both an early check in and a late checkout to fit our flight schedule, which made all the difference. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The design is modern, elegant, and beautifully decorated, with a relaxed coastal vibe that reminded me of Malibu, California. You're welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival, and you'll also receive a discounted massage package for the spa. I highly recommend taking advantage of it because it was one of the best massages I've ever had. The service here is truly exceptional. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was eager to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Caamil, who made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel bar is even named after him, and after meeting him, it's easy to see why! The amenities are fantastic, including 24-hour tennis and padel courts, four beautiful pools, and multiple lounge areas to relax throughout the property. Breakfast was another highlight. The included buffet featured an incredible variety of fresh options, an omelet station, and even a full à la carte menu if you wanted something different, all included in your stay. The location couldn't be better. The beach is directly across the street, making it effortless to enjoy the ocean, and it's an easy walk to the restaurants, shops, and promenade. Although we visited during the winter season, the weather was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed lounging by the pools, walking on the beach, and exploring the surrounding area. The Bay Hotel is the perfect destination year-round. Not one thing!

Return to this property. If we ever stay in Cape Town again, the Bay hotel is where we will go. Everything was perfect. The staff was so professional, helpful, and friendly. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has more amenities than we even realized location is perfect. Nothing to dislike

Great location right on the beach and among nice restaurants and bars. Staff was outstanding and made extra effort to make sure we were happy.

The location is a 10/10, Breakfast 10/10, Spa 10/10 - great service, safety and facilities One of our rooms was a little worn, toilet ran, door struggled to lock, not all lights would turn on - we did not complain, because everything else was so good.

Breakfasts were exceptional. Staff all incredibly friendly and attentive. Facilities are superb, as is the location. The best hotel in Cape Town that I have stayed in so far. I cannot fault anything about The Bay Hotel.

Fantastic location, breakfast, spa and sauna. The staff was exceptional. They were helpful and friendly. We were great full for the upgrade to a cabana room. We liked that our room opened to a private patio and pool. Despite being upgraded to the Cabana room, it was at the end of the hall way and rather dated. The doors were misaligned and we could smell the sever from the bathroom drain. We had to cover the drain when the bathroom wasn't in use because black drain gnats were flying through the drain, which was disturbing.

Its proximity to Camps Bay Beach. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

The dessert cakes(cheesecake and carrot cake) tasted a lil stale/old/dry.We could not use the bath in the room because the water pressure of the bath tap was so low that it took forever(10-15 mins) to get the bath to a third of being full and by that time the warm water had already cooled down.

Superb hotel, good location and top notch service. Fiyona at the front desk went above and beyond for us, David at the gate was friendly, Simi at restaurant was sweet and welcoming Highly recommend this place. The gym is very modern and well equipped Wish the balcony was cleaned everyday cause of constant bird poop but other than that excellent

The stunning sea views. And its proximity to eateries and bars. Prime location being right across from camp Bay Beach. There’s not anything I didn’t like about this accommodation

Location is arguably the best in Camps Bay being right in the middle of a vibrant restaurant strip. The breakfast was delightful and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The view from our sea view room was exactly as described. Our dining experience was both delicious and engaging as the staff ensured that everything was "just right". Simple inclusions that many other hotels charge for made our stay even better. Like fresh milk delivered to our room without charge, the complementary mini-bar with delicious fresh juices and snacks, a breakfast box for our early departure. The 4 days of Cape Town wind but there's not a lot we could do about that - its seasonal and very strong.

Breakfast was very good. Room was on second floor which was difficult for my husband. Room being on ground level.
