Everything from facilities to food to staff was great Nothing comes to mind

Overall we LOVED the resort. The food and staff were all amazing!! The hotel was very clean! No complaints at all

Just the room. We stayed at Garza Blanca Cancun based on the reputation and reviews, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing, especially as a family traveling with a young child. The resort had very little entertainment for both adults and kids. There were almost no activities happening during the day or evening, which made the resort feel very quiet and boring after the first day. The kids club was also disappointing. There was barely anything for kids to actually play with, and parents were not allowed to stay with their children. Our 5-year-old son was uncomfortable being left alone there and refused to stay without us, which made the kids area unusable for our family. One of the biggest issues was the food situation. There were essentially no halal food options available, which was extremely frustrating and should be made clearer to guests before booking. We also struggled because many staff members spoke very limited English, making communication difficult throughout the stay. Another major negative was the tipping pressure. Even though this is marketed as an all-inclusive luxury resort, we constantly felt expected to tip based on what the meal “would have cost” outside the package. We ended up spending approximately CAD $100–$200 per day just on tips, which felt excessive and uncomfortable. Overall, this resort did not meet expectations for a luxury family vacation. We regret booking this property and would not recommend it for families with young children, travelers looking for entertainment, or guests requiring halal food options.

The property grounds, rooms and amenities are beautiful. Rooms are large and modern. Outside pool area is very nice and well maintained. Horrible service, especially for an all-inclusive resort. While breakfast is offered as a buffet, all other meals must be ordered, and wait times range from 40 minutes to over an hour and a half. The service is consistently slow, and it often feels like staff are inattentive. Another major issue was the lack of hot water in the rooms. This wasn’t just an isolated problem—many families were complaining about it during our stay, which made it clear this was a broader issue the resort failed to address. What’s particularly frustrating is that tips are automatically added unless you specifically ask for them to be removed. At an all-inclusive resort, that shouldn’t be the case—gratuities should already be included. Guests shouldn’t be put in the uncomfortable position of having to request their removal just to avoid being overcharged. On our departure day, our room keys were deactivated before checkout time, and we had to go back and re-register them just to access our room. No explanation or apology was provided. Given how expensive this resort is, I expected a much higher level of service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short.

Everything! no
-
Single Room Interior - no privacy, room cleaning, outside kids' activities
-
Crowded. Not lots of Luxury for the price

the hotel itself was constantly hot. didn't seem like the air works properly. They restaurants were only open from 7 to 11:30 then 5:30 to 10. If you wanted to eat lunch order room service the middle of the day and wait an hour or go to the pool and order food. then for dinner you ned reservations everywhere even though the restaurants were always half full and in order to get a table you have to eat at 9 to 9:30. A total joke considering how much we paid. latly housekeeping came after 5pm one night. we told them we were realaxing come back in an hour and they said ok but never did. A lot of people working at the hotel spoke very little if any english. I would never go back

new nice rooms less activity
-
Lies, wrong room! Overpriced, management are lying and dont want to provide any information! No business cards, no claim book. 140$ per person for all inclusive?! 280 per couple and no food?! All food very cheap

The dinners in the restaurants were excellent and the staff were excellent. the rooms were super clean and the service was good. The worst part of the stay was having to sign a bill every single time we got a drink. I would get a coffee and then have to wait for the staff to go get the machine and scan my bracelet and then when the bracelet didnt' work because it never did and then I would have to wait of the staff to print the receipt and I would have to sign it. the whole point of being at an all inclusive was so you can just grab and go but every time room service, any bar, at the pool bar everywhere it was so annoying.

Pretty much everything except for the prices, a little expensive No halal option for food
-
We got the all inclusive for three days. On the first night we got diarrhea.
-
Clean, well maintained and incredible staff. I didn’t see one bug, literally NOT one the entire 5 days. It was 88 degrees and 85% humidity. Hotel and room set up is great and no need for shuttles or anything like that like some Cancún resorts. Everything is 2-5 min away from each other N/A

The food at some of the restaurants

a beautiful hotel and rooms are stunning. The food amazing. Great pool- but the heater went out during the stay so the pools got really cold. When I reviewed the property on their site and Booking.com it stated All-inclusive- be very careful they quote as room only then learn at the property of the up charge for the all inclusive- Do it. When we asked for the white wines by the glass they only offer 2- the others are an upcharge to a full bottle. The property had a HOT water issue for multiple days- so no HOT showers- Some days you got turn down and some not- some days it was really late, almost late for our dinner reservation. Booking reservations for their restaurants is a must and impossible- we had to eat at the food hall one night but did get reservations for 2 other restaurants-
