This property was close to Florence but not directly in the city (just a hotel shuttle away).It is a little oasis. The grounds were beautiful, the buildings, everything exceeded my expectations I honestly can’t think of one thing

We loved everything about this place! Beautiful property, attentive and friendly staff, amazing food, I could go on and on! The bedrooms and the pool were also pristine, and definitely our favorite part of our Italy trip! There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect!

I've stayed in many luxury hotels, but this one was miles ahead of them all. Our room was very large and had a beautiful view. It was also immaculately clean throughout our entire stay. The pool area was clean with stunning views, they brought us water by the pool each day. Breakfast was delicious, there was a large buffet and eggs cooked to order. It was also in a beautiful location on the balcony overlooking the river. We ate lunch at the hotel every day and it was also delicious, cocktails at the bar were enjoyable too. They had live music one evening but sadly we missed it. They have a small bus which takes you to/from Florence center throughout the day which was very helpful. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and friendly. Despite a little rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can't wait to visit again! Just a couple tiny points: I asked for a dinner recommendation in Florence but was given a book with about 30+ choices. A smaller list or personal recommendation would have been helpful. It would be nice for the hot foods at breakfast (sausage, bacon and potatoes) to also be cooked to order or kept warmer.

The setting, and hotel were stunning! Information regarding shuttle is difficult to find when making travel plans and is far from train station or airport. It also closes mid day for two hours.

The location, set in the suburbs, was calm and pleasant — close enough to reach the city easily, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful moments. The view from our room was beautiful, especially in the mornings and evenings. The restaurant was excellent — not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant staff offered such warm, heartfelt care. They paid attention to every detail and made each meal feel special. The shuttle service was fantastic and made getting around easy and comfortable. Every service reflected real thoughtfulness and a touch of luxury. The atmosphere of the hotel was elegant, cozy, and full of genuine warmth. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and deeply grateful for such a beautiful experience. ❤️

Extensive grounds and multiple buildings all well tended, decorated and well staffed. Nothing we did not like.

What didn’t I like?!? It was so tranquil and the staff couldn’t haven been kinder or more accommodating! That we couldn’t stay longer! Hahaha

I wish the shuttle would run past 11pm into town especially because most individuals eat a later dinner here. We had a fine dining reservation for an anniversary dinner at 930 pm which caused us to miss the last shuttle, and we ended up having to pay a taxi what I thought was an excessive amount for the 8 minute drive to the property.

From the moment we entered it was five star service. At checkin Adel, Tamara and Nicolo were very cordial. The views of the river and beautiful hills made it hard to look away. All of the resteraunt’s were excellent and especially the very lovely staff. I would especially like to thank Vasilis for his great food recommendations and conversation.

We have stayed at Villa La Massa previously and returned because it is an exceptional property in a unique location. It is a peaceful haven in close proximity to an historic city. Everything. The rooms are spacious, elegant and luxurious. The grounds and pool area are very well kept. Excellent indoor and outdoor eating areas serving excellent food and beverages.
