Location was good . Rooftop restaurant good served breakfast up there great selection. Reception clean and cool . A few week before our stay we was contacted saying we had 170 pound to pay for a new year gala dinner said we wasn’t bothered about attending it and was told it was mandatory everyone had to pay it or to cancel our booking as it was so close to the arrival date and not a lot of choice left we decided to pay it later found out of other people staying there they hadn’t had to pay it so am very disappointed about this won’t be staying again lot better hotels out there . The rooms are very spacious but think they are desperate for a deep clean and maintenance work . The curtains leading on to the balcony were very dirty like they hadn’t been cleaned in years the bathroom needed maintenance work when you had a shower the bathroom flooded because the shower door didn’t close properly and the shower screen had all black gunk round the edge which needed a good clean . Duvet covers had marks on them and could never tell weather the sheets had been changed or just Mede the bed as the bedding was creased like they didn’t iron the clean bedding. Housekeeping kept forgetting to leave clean towels . There is a night club in the basement of the hotel which is not advertised when booking as we was on the 1st floor we could hear this every night till gone 1 in a morning it was like the music was playing in our room that’s how loud it was you could feel the floor vibrating when you walked on it .

The rooms were spacious and cleaned well - plenty of water available. Bathrooms clean and spacious too. Helpful and happy team working there. The shower didn’t always have hot water, not a big deal. The hotel is very noisy, you expect traffic noise which is fine, this was from people in corridors and echo screeching children from the swimming pool in the middle of the hotel often from 8am! Glad they were having good time, however you couldn’t escape the noise! We booked on a non cancellation basis - the hotel then advised us that we had to pay an additional £80 per person for a NYE gala dinner otherwise our booking wasn’t confirmed. This was a change to the t&c we originally booked - they had us over a barrel as we couldn’t cancel. It felt like we were getting conned so I wouldn’t stay here again. We didn’t want the gala dinner but had to pay anyway. Booking.com poor show on this, you did nothing to help us sort it out - very disappointed !!!

The staff were lovely Room looked out on the road , very noisy. Nightclub in the basement that had recently opened that was not mentioned at all when booking, vibrating the whole building until 3am.

One of the best mid-range to upper-range quality hotels in the area. Superb service from the lovely staff. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal, it's served in the rooftop bar which has great views. Great AC in the rooms. My room had a balcony overlooking the busy street. Taxis were always available right outside. Great location! A decent pool. The corridors of the hotel and the pool area are open to the environment, i.e. at the same temperature and humidity as outside. Just be aware of that. Walking out of your room hits you with a wall of humidity! When we were there, there was no bar service by the pool (no food, no drink). But the season had just started.

The Hotel Staff were Absolutely Terrible and Rude. Hotel was having Building works during my stay which Was a Bad Experience. Do not Book this Hotel,unless you want to Have Rude Hotel Staff,had called Reception 3 times from my Room for Requests which were not Acknowledged the First time. Everytime I needed something had to Call 3 times on 4 Different Occasions. When the Staff did Turn up they were Absolutely Rude and Not even Apologetic. Please Do not Book this Place if you want to Experience Bad customer service and Building works during your Stay. Booking.com Should not be Advertising this Place on their Platform I am Very Appalled. Everything about this Place from the Very Beginning during check in to Check out was Bad Experience and Bad Feeling. Should not be like this.Never got that Kind Compassionate Welcome here.
