Boarding House Cape May

Great property. Extremely dog-friendly, highly recommend if you are traveling with your little companions. Staff was very kind and helpful. Location was perfect for shopping and visiting the beach by foot.

We stayed in an ADA room and the one thing we didn't understand was the shower had no door or curtain. I was told the floors in the bathroom were made so you didn't need one. It still got the bathroom floor wet and had to be dried. Other than that the hotel was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and Boarding House located in a great place, close to everything. Very clean room.

Absolutely amazing at every moment and most pleasing - serious next level cleanliness, the faint aroma of bleach and a spotless environment at every moment. The lobby, the grounds, but our room- was honestly- absolutely immaculate! 🫧🫧🫧 The rooms are decorated with a chill, beach feel and the mood sets you into beach weekend chill mode. 🌊 The hotel staff are visible, friendly, and Camille is outstanding- she set a tone of relaxation that we felt all weekend long! 😎✨️ Even better, our dog was welcomed with open arms, there are amenities for dogs and many other room guests had their dogs with them too, creating a peaceful, dog loving vibe, that really felt good as a dog owner. 😊🐾❤️⛱️ We can't wait to come back! The Boarding House is close to all the killer shops, restaurants and Washington Square, plus a cool nature trail across the street, and beaches ⛱️ too! We had an amazing weekend!!!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and time at the hotel. Our dog was very happy too! The hotel had great amemities, was clean, had guaranteed parking, was in a great location close to the beach and main area in Cape May in addition the dog park was across the hotel. The staff was very friendly, exceptionally responsive, and courteous to our needs. We will come back and highly recommend it!

The hotel staff were great. Room had everything we needed and spacious. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I wish the housekeeping was on request instead of once in 3 days. Also given it’s a dog friendly property I wish they put doggie food and water bowls in the room as well!

Great place!!

We were impressed with the modern look of the hotel exterior upon arrival. The parking lot was described as being able to easily park but that was far from the truth, the parking was quite tight for regular cars, much less an SUV or larger vehicle. The parking spots were also all filled and we had to inquire at the main desk in order to see where to park. Parking on the street was also free so that was the best option but we were under the impression that we could park within the lot. So that in itself was rather disappointing. We checked in and were text messaged the code to get into the room- the room was clean and smelled fresh. Everything was definitely in order in the room- it had a small fridge and a microwave which was a nice bonus. The coffee pot? if you want to call it that was interesting but we were not sure how to use it. We did also plan on going on the upper deck area patio to sit and read, but there was no actual comfortable seating- all the chairs were made of rubber bands? It was modern but not functional. That was disappointing. We have no complaints on the room or any type of noise at night, as there was none, but we did not know how to turn the fan over the bed off which created a coolness we did not necessarily desire during sleeping. Check out was simple, you just messaged that you were checking out. All in all it was a nice place, good location to walking thru Cape May but a few improvements on those few things would be nice.

It was clean, well organized, and parking is convenient. I love that we get coffee, happy hour, beach tags and umbrellas and chairs. It’s further from the beach.

We loved our stay! From kind workers to a quiet, clean room it was perfect. Very cute atmosphere and dog-friendly. Was a short 5 minute walk away from any fun activities, along with being a peaceful getaway when we needed time to relax.

Television/wifi/streaming didn’t work well.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location is perfect for a walk into town and quick drive to the beach. The Boarding House is upscale but not stuffy with a retro-beach vibe. Communication was excellent, and the check-in process was a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the rooftop deck and had cocktail there on our last night. My only criticism is that the parking is a little tight. Overall. Wonderful!

Very pet friendly, clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff! Dog park across the street was a plus and Washington St just a 5 minute walk. We will be back
