Excellent . except there was no elevator.

Generous sized room. Comfortable. Great location / close to everything. True Victorian charm. Nicely manicured exterior. Several guests including us this weekend were given the wrong front door code. Thankfully even at 9:30 pm a staff person was available to answer the door and fix the error. It would be great if a mini-fridge was added to the room for food and beverages

The breakfast was of good quality and served on a porch right outside our room. The location is convenient to the main areas of Cape May. Would consider staying again upon our return to Cape May. Prices in Cape May continue to climb and the price to value for this area is getting a bit unreasonable.

Southern Mansion was absolutely gorgeous. It was our first time visiting the Inn. I have been to Cape May prior but over 25 plus years ago. If you love a traditional, charming and cozy atmosphere, this is your ideal place to stay. The included breakfast was also very nice. Food was delicious and it was nice knowing we had breakfast planned for each day of our stay. Such a lovely place filled with history. The Inn was also an ideal location and very peaceful; quiet and private.

The staff was tremendously friendly & helpful. We were blown away by how clean & well-maintained the property was. We couldn't find anything negative.

The front door key and room keys are a little bit hard to open at a time. One night the next door guest showed up, they were talking loud late into the night and we can’t sleep
